The Top 11 official finalists vying for Miss Czech Republic 2023 have been officially announced on Thursday, January 26 at Aureole restaurant in Prague. Along with the special presentation of the 11 competitors, a brand new crown designed by jeweler Olga Kopalova was also unveiled. The finalists and a 40-member team were next taken to the DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island in the United Arab Emirates where they will train and prepare for the grand coronation. Miss Czech Republic 2023 final show will be held on May 13 at the Forum Karlín in Prague where five national titles are at stake. Muž roku 2022 (Man of the Year) was held last August 26 in Náchod, a town in the Hradec Králové Region of the Czech Republic. Matěj Švec, a 23-year-old football player, fitness trainer, and co-owner of a gym in Český Krumlov, was named Muž roku 2022. He also received the title Mister International Czech Republic 2022 and is expected to represent his country at the Mister International pageant. The Miss Czech Republic organization officially opened the registration for the Miss Czech Republic 2023 edition earlier this month. Applicants must be 17 to 25 years old and hold Czech citizenship. Other nationalities can also apply but they must have already been granted permanent residence at the time of registration. Castings will kick off on September 9 in Prague. Registration forms as well as the casting schedules and locations are available at the Miss Czech Republic official website .
