Miss Grand Philippines Roberta Tamondong has been officially announced by the MGI organization as the new Miss Grand International 2022 fifth runner-up. Isabella Menin of Brazil was crowned Miss Grand International 2022 in a glittering grand final competition held on Tuesday, October 25 at the Sentul International Convention Centre in Bogor, Indonesia. The 26-year-old model and entrepreneur beat 67 other contestants to win her country's first-ever golden crown. She succeeds last year's winner Nguyen Thuy Thuc Tien of Vietnam. Thailand's Engfa Waraha was named first runner-up while Indonesia's Andina Julie, Venezuela's Luiseth Materán, and Czech Republic's Mariana Bečková finished second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.
