Miss Earth Malaysia 2023 is Manvin Khera

Manvin Khera was crowned Miss Earth Malaysia 2023 during the Ratu Wanita Malaya final competition held on Saturday, October 8 at the Evolve Concept Mall in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. The 21-year-old model is now expected to represent Malaysia at the Miss Earth 2023 pageant which will be held in Vietnam. Her predecessor, Kajel Kaur, will compete in Miss Earth 2022 this November in the Philippines. A total of 18 competitors were selected to take part in the inaugural edition of the national pageant. Other winners who will also be sent to various international competitions next year were Miss Face of Humanity Malveen Kaur, Miss Global Malaysia Sunshine Aileen Devi Eric, Miss Eco Malaysia Thanu Shri, Miss Asia Pacific Malaysia Taanusiya Chetty, and Miss Star Malaysia Kash Bhullar. Miss Universe Malaysia 2022 is Cheam Wei Yeng

Cheam Wei Yeng (Lesley) was crowned Miss Universe Malaysia 2022 on Friday, October 7 at the M Resort & Hotel in Damansara, Kuala Lumpur. The 26-year-old pharmaceutical and health science graduate is an assistant manager and a multilingual host and talent from Selangor. She succeeds Miss Universe Malaysia 2020 Francisca Luhong James. Ajunee Simreet Kaur Khangura and Tee Wan Ying were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Rounding out the Top 8 finalists were Annatasha Shanty Jeremiah (Asha), Joann Tiong Hau Ping (Joann), Catherine Lai Hui Yi (Kate), Kaverrna Nair Sukumaran (Kaverrna), and Wong Siu Jane (Siu Jane). In addition to the national title, the new Miss Universe Malaysia also bagged the Miss Radiant Confidence and Miss Schwarzkopf Most Beautiful Hair awards. Malaysia's representatives for Miss World 2022, Miss Supranational 2023, and Miss Grand International 2022 have been selected during the HyperLive Festival Malaysia 2022 on Saturday, August 27 at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Miss Grand International 2021 Nguyen Thuy Thuc Tien and Miss World 2021 Karolina Bielawska arrived on Thursday, August 25 at Kota Kinabalu International Airport, in Sabah, Malaysia. Joined by Miss Grand International Organization's Nawat Itsaragrisil and Teresa Chaivisut, the queens were warmly welcomed by the fans and national pageant organizers during their arrival in the country. Miss Supranational Malaysia 2022 is Melisha Lin

A 24-year-old model, Melisha Lin, was named Miss Supranational Malaysia 2022 after gaining the highest position in the overall fan vote last May 14. The Malaysian representative to the upcoming Miss Supranational 2022 competition in Poland this July, edged out another contender for the title, Vinthiya Vasu. Melisha holds a degree in marketing management from the University of Greenwich. She is expected to be crowned in a ceremony in Kuala Lumpur this June with the renowned actress and former Miss Supranational Malaysia Sanjna Suri as a special guest. The Top 15 official finalists of Miss Universe Malaysia 2022 were officially announced in a closed-door event held last March 29 at the MyEG auditorium in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. After last year's national competition was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, MUMO national director Datin Elaine Daly said they are back bigger, better and stronger this year. Miss Universe Malaysia 2022 pageant week and final are expected to be held this June. The winner will succeed Francisca Luhong James and represent Malaysia at Miss Universe 2022 later this year. No Malaysia at the 70th Miss Universe pageant in Israel

Miss Universe Malaysia Organization (MUMO) released an official statement on Tuesday, August 17 in regard to Malaysia's non-participation at the 70th Miss Universe pageant in Eilat, Israel this December. "Unfortunately, due to the worsening COVID-19 situation, which has resulted in limited international and domestic travel, we have been unable to hold our local Miss Universe Malaysia 2021 pageant," the MUMO said. "We have therefore declined the invitation to this year's pageant and regretfully would not be able to hold a local Miss Universe Malaysia pageant this year." Miss Universe Malaysia 2020 Francisca Luhong James has cried out "stop cyberbullying" after she was incorrectly tagged as "nude model" on the Google knowledge panel. Knowledge panels are information boxes that appear on Google when you search for people, places, organizations, or things and are meant to provide a quick snapshot of information on a topic. The 25-year-old beauty from Kuching, Sarawak, took to social media to air her sentiments against whoever initiated this unacceptable bullying online. In an Instagram story, she said: "You guys really have nothing to do. What is this? Why do you have to do this and lock this information? Any benefits you get from doing this? Have I done anything wrong to you or your family? I think I've been through this enough."
