Miss International Malaysia 2023 is Cassandra Yap


Cassandra Yap bested 16 other finalists to win Miss International Malaysia 2023 on Sunday, October 1 at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) in Kota Kinabalu.

The 26-year-old fashion designer and model from Johor succeeds last year's titleholder Giselle Tay and will now prepare to represent Malaysia at Miss International 2023 in Tokyo, Japan on October 26.

Kimberly Vung, Christina Lee and Aaliyah Wunsch were announced as the first, second, and third runners-up, respectively, while Hanah Musa, Lilyannie Christie, and Rindsay Rachelle rounded out the Top 8.

Ashlyn Ooi, a 26-year-old model from Kuala Lumpur, was crowned Miss International Malaysia 2024 and will go on to compete in Miss International 2024 whose date and venue are yet to be announced.

Miss Michigan USA 2024 is Alma Cooper

Miss Okemos, Alma Cooper was crowned Miss Michigan USA 2024 on Sunday, April 21 at McMorran Entertainment Center in Port Huron, Michigan. The 22-year-old scholar, advocate and US Army officer will now prepare to represent Michigan at Miss USA 2024 in Hollywood, California this August. Alma holds a bachelor of science degree in mathematics from the United States Military Academy at West Point. The second lieutenant officer is also a Knight-Hennessy Scholar, currently pursuing her master's degree in data science at Stanford University in California. She succeeds last year's winner, Alexis Fagan-Williams. Breea Yamat was crowned Miss Hawaii USA 2024 during the state final competition held on Friday, April 19 at Royal Hawaii Center Theater. The 27-year-old Mexican-Filipina beauty from Oahu will now prepare to represent Hawaii at Miss USA 2024 in Hollywood, California in August. Miss Greater Bridgeport, Shavana Clarke was crowned Miss Connecticut USA 2024 on Sunday, April 14 at Marriott Hartford Windsor Airport in Windsor, Connecticut. The 29-year-old model and mental health advocate will now prepare to represent the state of Connecticut at Miss USA 2024 in California this August. Miss Philippines Earth 2024: Meet the winners of the beach wear competition

The Miss Philippines Earth 2024 Beach Wear Competition was held on Thursday, April 25 in Borongan City, the capital of the province of Eastern Samar. Sam Samara of Makati City bagged the gold medal while the representatives of Iligan City, Kristel Codas, and Matanao, Davao Del Sur, Irha Mel Inutan Alfeche were awarded silver and bronze, respectively. Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2024: Meet the contestants

The official contestants vying for Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2024 were finally revealed on Thursday, April 18 at the mayor's office in San Juan. This year's competition will have 28 of the island's most beautiful women selected to compete for the coveted national title. One of them will be the successor of Karla Guilfú Acevedo, reigning Miss Universe Puerto Rico and Miss Universe 2023 Top 5 finalists. Mister Supranational South Africa 2024 is Fezile Mkhize

Former Mr World South Africa, Fezile Mkhize, was officially announced as Mister Supranational South Africa 2024 on Saturday, April 27 at Asteria Group Holdings in Pretoria. The 33-year-old medical doctor and television presenter succeeds last year's winner  Tylo Ribeiro and will now prepare to represent South Africa at Mister Supranational 2024 in Poland this July. Hlumelo Matsha was named first runner-up while Michael Benevolent finished as second runner-up. The new Mister Supranational South Africa hails from Port Shepstone in KwaZulu Natal and is now based in Johannesburg. He lost his father at a young age and during the competition, he said that losing several family members in the past few years has encouraged him to work harder to live life fully and make a difference in the lives of others. Miss Universe Germany 2024 is Pia Theissen

Pia Theissen was crowned Miss Universe Germany 2024 on Sunday, April 28 at Living Hotel de Medici in Düsseldorf. The 25-year-old social worker, occupational therapist and yoga teacher from Cologne will now prepare to represent Germany at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico later this year. Annabelle Keller and Ilke Filiz were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Angelina Matic, Jennifer Monreal, and Tatjana Genrich rounded out the Top 6 finalists. Miss Universe Netherlands' national director Milou Verhoeks, reigning Miss Denmark Nikoline Uhrenholt Hansen, and former Miss Universe Germany Soraya Kohlmann were among the judges. The new Miss Universe Germany succeeds last year's winner  Helena Bleicher , who participated in Miss Universe 2023 last November in El Salvador.
