Designed and crafted by Stelios Jewellers in Perth, the exquisite masterpiece is an ode to Australia's incredible wildlife, flora and fauna. Banksia is an iconic Australian native evergreen tree or shrub named after English naturalist and botanist Sir Joseph Banks, who first recorded its discovery in the 18th century. The new crown is adorned with natural Australian blue, green, and yellow sapphires, meticulously crafted in yellow and white gold. Jasmine Stringer bested over 30 other competitors to be crowned Miss World Australia 2023 in a glittering competition held on Friday, August 18 at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre. The 26-year-old Gold Coast-born primary school teacher will now represent Australia at Miss World 2024. She succeeds last year's winner Kristen Wright who will travel to Mumbai, India for Miss World 2023 later this year.
