The 22-year-old model and environmental advocate from New South Wales finally won her national title in her third attempt. She was named Miss Earth Australia Air in both the 2019 and 2020 editions. Chawanphat "Spy" Kongnim bested 15 other finalists to win Miss Earth Thailand 2022 on Monday, August 29 at the Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok. The 24-year-old beauty is native of Lopburi Province and holds a degree in liberal arts major in English from Rangsit University. Miss Ekiti, Esther Oluwatosin Ajayi, was crowned Miss Earth Nigeria 2022 in a glittering grand coronation show held on Saturday, August 27 at the EUI Event Center in Port Harcourt. The 27-year-old beauty bested 24 other contestants to win her national title. She advocates the "Mash Up the Trash Initiative" which aims to create awareness and initiate actions among the youth on the effects of land-based pollution on the ecosystem. After two virtual editions, this year's pageant themed “ME Loves Fauna” will be taking on a "hybrid format" with virtual and on-ground events in the host country.
