Miss Earth Netherlands 2022 is Merel Hendriksen, Miss Teen of the Netherlands 2022 is Floortje Timmer


The final competition of the Miss Beauty of the Netherlands 2022 pageant was held on Saturday, July 2 at Studio 21 in Hilversum.

A 24-year-old interior designer from Dodewaard, Merel Hendriksen, was named Miss Earth Netherlands 2022 while a 17-year-old aspiring beautician from Houten, Floortje Timmer, clinched the title of Miss Teen of the Netherlands 2022.

They will respectively represent the Netherlands at Miss Earth 2022 in the Philippines and Miss Teen International in India.

Amber Rustenberg, Kim Hulshof, Dalia van Gessel and Beau Goos were the runners-up. A total of 24 finalists competed for the titles at stake during this year's national pageant.

"What a night! I feel like I’m dreaming. As of yesterday evening, I may call myself Miss beauty of the Netherlands and Miss Earth of the Netherlands," Merel said in a statement on social media.

"I want to thank everyone who helped me during this amazing adventure. I am so proud of all the young women who made yesterday’s show an amazing experience," she added.

Miss Universe Japan 2025 is Kaori Hashimoto from Tochigi Prefecture

Kaori Hashimoto was crowned Miss Universe Japan 2025 in a national competition held on Wednesday, July 16 in Shibuya. The 21-year-old business administration student from Tochigi Prefecture beat over 40 other contestants to win the national title. Saki Fujita and Reina Ishii were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Chiemi Takayama and Naomi Monique Kamidate were the rest of the Top 5 finalists. Kaya Chakrabortty, last year's winner who made the Top 30 at Miss Universe 2024 held in Mexico, crowned her successor at the end of the event. Miss Universe Venezuela 2025 is Clara Vegas of Miranda

Clara Vegas triumphed over 21 other contestants to win the title of Miss Universe Venezuela 2025 on Thursday, December 4 in Caracas. The 23-year-old model and actress from Miranda will represent Venezuela at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant to be held in Puerto Rico. Maria Evangelista Alayon of Amazonas was named first runner-up while Milena Paola Soto of Mérida, Gabriela de la Cruz of Yaracuy, and Gabriela Villegas of Monagas were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Anouk Eman bested five other competitors to win Miss Universe Aruba 2024 on Saturday, August 10 at the Aruba Marriott Grand Ballroom. Former Miss Queen of Portugal Camila Vitorino was crowned Miss Universe Portugal 2025 last Saturday, June 14 in the beautiful and historic city of Elvas. The 26-year-old from São Sebastião, Setúbal made history as the first married woman and mother to become Miss Universe Portugal. Laura Malaquias, Diliana Fernandes, and Ivone Carneiro were announced as the first, second, and third runners-up, respectively.
