Miss Earth Singapore 2022 final competition will be held tonight at the Grand Ballroom of One Farrer Hotel, Singapore. This year's pageant themed "Futurism: Shaping the Earth of Tomorrow" will be broadcast live on the official Miss Earth Singapore Facebook and Instagram page from 7:30 to 10 p.m. local time. A total of 14 finalists will be vying for the national title and the opportunity to represent Singapore at Miss Earth 2022 in the Philippines this November. Last year's titleholder Ruth d'Almeida will crown her successor at the end of the event. The 23-year-old philanthropist, aspiring chef, and architect in training from Windhoek was the second runner-up during Miss Namibia 2022 pageant held last August 12 at the Windhoek Country Club Resort and Casino. Chawanphat "Spy" Kongnim bested 15 other finalists to win Miss Earth Thailand 2022 on Monday, August 29 at the Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok. The 24-year-old beauty is native of Lopburi Province and holds a degree in liberal arts major in English from Rangsit University. Miss Ekiti, Esther Oluwatosin Ajayi, was crowned Miss Earth Nigeria 2022 in a glittering grand coronation show held on Saturday, August 27 at the EUI Event Center in Port Harcourt. The 27-year-old beauty bested 24 other contestants to win her national title. She advocates the "Mash Up the Trash Initiative" which aims to create awareness and initiate actions among the youth on the effects of land-based pollution on the ecosystem.
