Miss Earth Vietnam 2023 pageant officially launched

Miss Earth Vietnam 2023 was officially launched in a special press conference held on Wednesday, June 19 at Caravelle Saigon in Ho Chi Minh City. Reigning Miss Earth Mina Sue Choi of Korea was honored as ambassador during the event organized by TNA Entertainment under the leadership of the entrepreneur, actress, and president of Miss Earth Vietnam Truong Ngoc Anh. The national competition will kick off official casting in August and the winner is expected to participate in the Miss Earth 2023 to be held in the country this December. Nguyen Tran Khanh Van (Miss Universe Vietnam 2019), Le Thi Ha Thu (Miss Earth Vietnam 2017), and Bui Quynh Hoa (International Supermodel 2022) were announced as program mentors for its upcoming reality show format. Miss Earth 2022 Mina Sue Choi visits Vietnam

Reigning Miss Earth Mina Sue Choi touched down in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on Sunday, July 16 for her first official visit to the country. The 25-year-old Korean beauty was warmly received by TNA Entertainment headed by businesswoman, executive producer, and actress Truong Ngoc Anh. Mina will be a special guest in a press conference for Miss Earth Vietnam 2023 this Wednesday, July 19 at Caravelle Saigon. She is also expected to take part in social and promotional activities for the national competition. To recall, Miss Earth 2022 won her title from a field of over 85 contestants from all over the world last November in the Philippines. Her victory marked an important milestone as it was the first time Korea conquered Miss Earth — one of the leading and biggest beauty pageants on the planet. Miss Ethnic Vietnam 2022 is Nong Thuy Hang, second runner-up Thach Thu Thao to compete in Miss Earth 2022

Nong Thuy Hang was crowned Miss Ethnic Vietnam 2022 in a glittering event held on Saturday, July 16 in Ho Chi Minh City. The 23-year-old beauty from the Tay ethnic group in the northern mountainous province of Ha Giang is a graduate of the National Economics University. Luong Thi Hoa Dan, a 21-year-old student from the Kinh ethnic group in the northern province of Hai Duong, was named first runner-up. A 21-year-old student from the Khmer ethnic group in the Mekong Delta province of Tra Vinh, Thach Thu Thao, finished as second runner-up and was chosen to compete in Miss Earth 2022, possibly in the Philippines later this year. Reigning Miss Earth Destiny Wagner arrived in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam together with former Miss Earth Lindsey Coffey on Monday, July 11. This is Destiny's second time to be officially invited to the country after her first visit last March, and also her first time together with her predecessor. Miss Earth Vietnam has a new franchise holder, Miss Earth 2023 might be held in Vietnam

The new president of Nova Entertainment, Truong Ngoc Anh, has announced ownership of the Miss Earth Vietnam franchise in a press conference held last Thursday, February 17. A national pageant will take place this March to honor the beauty, intelligence, and special talents of young women from 54 ethnic groups living in Vietnam. The winner will represent the country at the next Miss Earth edition. There's also a possibility for Miss Earth 2023 to be held in Vietnam as the new national franchisee also announced interest in the rights to host the international competition. The country has already hosted the 10th-anniversary edition in Nha Trang in 2010. Vietnam has not yet placed at the Miss Earth pageant since successfully winning the coveted title in 2018 with Nguyen Phuong Khanh. Former Miss Earth Nguyen Phuong Khanh invited to speak at TEDx Hoa Sen University

Former Miss Earth Nguyen Phuong Khanh was invited to speak at TEDx, an independently organized TED event that took place last January 14 at Hoa Sen University in Ho Chi Minh. The Vietnamese beauty has always been a fan of TED Talk for its inspirational speeches that give hope and motivation to many young people in fulfilling their dreams. "The Mountain - Dare to Climb" was the theme of the event, and for her, the invitation to speak along with some influential individuals felt like conquering another mountain, a dream come true. "In life, there are many things I dream of being able to do but never dared to think that it will come true," she said. She believes that with effort and self-investment anyone can do great things. Nguyen Van Anh has been officially named Miss Earth Vietnam 2021 and will now represent her country at the Miss Earth 2021 virtual competition this November. The 26-year-old sales and marketing professional who co-founded a start-up business succeeds last year's titleholder, Thai Thị Hoa. Miss Earth Vietnam 2021 to take place in Lac Duong this December

Miss Earth Vietnam 2021 competition was launched in a press conference held last Wednesday, April 28 in Lac Duong. The special event to kick off the first-ever Miss Earth Vietnam pageant was attended by former titleholders and Miss Earth 2018 Nguyen Phuong Khanh, the very first Vietnamese to win Miss Earth. Four titles are at stake in the national pageant and a total of 6 billion VND worth of prizes will be given away. The main winner will have the opportunity to represent the country at the international Miss Earth competition. Besides looking for an exceptional woman to represent Vietnam on the global stage, the organizers also aim to contribute to raising awareness on environmental protection and preservation. One of their initiatives includes tree-planting in response to the launching ceremony to plant 50 million trees in Lam Dong province within the next 5 years. Applications for Miss Earth Vietnam 2021 will open this month and the eliminations will take place this August in Hanoi
