Miss Earth Vietnam has a new franchise holder, Miss Earth 2023 might be held in Vietnam


The new president of Nova Entertainment, Truong Ngoc Anh, has announced ownership of the Miss Earth Vietnam franchise in a press conference held last Thursday, February 17.

A national pageant will take place this March to honor the beauty, intelligence, and special talents of young women from 54 ethnic groups living in Vietnam. The winner will represent the country at the next Miss Earth edition.

There's also a possibility for Miss Earth 2023 to be held in Vietnam as the new national franchisee also announced interest in the rights to host the international competition. The country has already hosted the 10th-anniversary edition in Nha Trang in 2010.

Vietnam has not yet placed at the Miss Earth pageant since successfully winning the coveted title in 2018 with Nguyen Phuong Khanh.

USA wins back-to-back Miss International Queen titles

Lo Colby of the USA was crowned Miss International Queen 2026 on Saturday, September 19 at the Tiffany's Show Pattaya in Pattaya, Thailand. The Hawaiian-born Thai-American transgender beauty based in Los Angeles bested 26 rival contestants to win the coveted title. She also bagged the Best in Talent award. Lo succeeds last year's winner and fellow American Midori Monét, securing an unprecedented back-to-back victory in Miss International Queen history. Theerachaya Pimkitidaj of Thailand and Saki Iwai of Japan were announced the fist and second runners-up, respectively. Daiana Stefani Pereyra is the new Miss Universe Argentina

Daiana Stefani Pereyra has officially been named the new Miss Universe Argentina 2026 after the crowned titleholder Tamara Rogouski stepped down for personal reasons. The 28-year-old cabin crew competed for La Pampa and earned the first runner-up position at the national pageant in May. She will now gear up to represent Argentina at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant scheduled for Puerto Rico this November. Miss World 2026 is Joheirry Mola from the Dominican Republic

Joheirry Mola Dominguez from the Dominican Republic bested 110 other contestants to win Miss World 2026 on Saturday, September 5 in Nha Trang, Vietnam. The 24-year-old model, teacher, news correspondent and advocate received the coveted crown and sash from her predecessor Opal Suchata Chuangsri from Thailand. She became the second woman from the Dominican Republic to become Miss World next to Mariasela Álvarez who won in 1982. Veera Grönlund, a 30-year-old from Helsinki, was crowned Miss Suomi 2026 (Miss Finland 2026) on Saturday, September 5, at Hybridiarena Hype in Espoo.
