Miss Earth Vietnam has a new franchise holder, Miss Earth 2023 might be held in Vietnam


The new president of Nova Entertainment, Truong Ngoc Anh, has announced ownership of the Miss Earth Vietnam franchise in a press conference held last Thursday, February 17.

A national pageant will take place this March to honor the beauty, intelligence, and special talents of young women from 54 ethnic groups living in Vietnam. The winner will represent the country at the next Miss Earth edition.

There's also a possibility for Miss Earth 2023 to be held in Vietnam as the new national franchisee also announced interest in the rights to host the international competition. The country has already hosted the 10th-anniversary edition in Nha Trang in 2010.

Vietnam has not yet placed at the Miss Earth pageant since successfully winning the coveted title in 2018 with Nguyen Phuong Khanh.

Femina Miss India World 2026: Sadhvi Sail from Goa wins the crown

Sadhvi Sail bested 29 other contestants to win the Femina Miss India 2026 pageant last Saturday, April 18 at the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology in Bhubaneswar. The 24-year-old beauty from Goa state was crowned by her predecesor Nikita Porwal and will represent India at the 74th Miss World competition next year. Rajnandini Pawar of Maharashtra and Sree Advaita of Union Territory were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Former Miss Earth USA Bea Millan-Windorski joins Miss Universe Philippines 2026

Filipino-American Bea Millan-Windorski has recently been appointed as the official representative for the province of La Union at Miss Universe Philippines 2026. At just 24 years old, she is well-acquainted with the world of pageantry, having participated in Miss Earth USA 2024 in Orlando, Florida, where she clinched the title while representing Wisconsin. This achievement made her the first Filipino-American to secure a national title. Patthama Jitsawat, representing the Thai province of Chonburi, was crowned Miss Grand Thailand 2026 on Saturday, March 28 at MGI Hall in Bangkok. Victoria DiSorbo was crowned Miss World America 2023 in a national competition held on Thursday, October 5 at the Meydenbauer Center Theatre in Bellevue, Washington. The 25-year-old representing the state of Tennessee will now prepare to compete on behalf of the United States of America at Miss World 2023 in India this December. Luren Márquez was crowned Miss Peru 2026 (Miss Universe Peru) in a special ceremony held on Wednesday, April 15 at the Teatro Municipal del Callao. The spectacular Miss Universe Philippines 2026 national costume competition took place on Thursday, April 16 at the Urdaneta City Cultural and Sports Center in Pangasinan.
