Miss Universe Nepal 2023 is Jane Dipika Garrett

Jane Dipika Garrett bested over 20 other competitors to win Miss Universe Nepal 2023 on Saturday, September 9 at the Godavari Sunrise Convention Center. The 22-year-old nurse and business developer from Kathmandu made history as she became the first-ever plus-size beauty to win the national title. She is advocating for mental health, body positivity, and hormonal health for women in Nepal. "As a woman who is curvy and who does not meet certain beauty standards, I'm here to represent women who are curvy, who struggle with weight gain, who struggle with hormonal issues — I believe that there is not only one type of beauty standard but every single woman is beautiful just as she is," said the new Miss Universe Nepal. The Top 22 semifinalists vying for the coveted national title of Miss Universe Nepal 2023 were officially presented to the press on Friday, August 18 at Dusit Princess Kathmandu. This year's national final will take place on September 9 at Godavari Sunrise Convention Center. Reigning Miss Universe Nepal Sophiya Bhujel will crown her successor at the end of the event. The next titleholder will represent Nepal at the 72nd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2023) pageant to be held in El Salvador this November. Don't forget to vote for your favorite beauties via Khalti. Miss Nepal 2023: Meet the winners of Miss Nepal World, Earth and International titles

The Dabur Vatika Miss Nepal 2023 final competition was held on Saturday, May 27 at the Godawari Convention Hall in Lalitpur. Contestant number 17   Srichchha Pradhan, a Bennington College graduate with a degree in environmental studies, was proclaimed Miss Nepal World 2023. Raina Majgaiya, a commercial pilot, clinched the title Miss Nepal Earth 2023 while Prasiddhy Shah, also an environmental studies graduate, was named Miss Nepal International 2023. They are expected to represent Nepal at Miss World 2024, Miss Earth 2023 (Vietnam), and Miss International 2023 (Japan), respectively. A total of 24 contestants from around the country were selected to take part in the 27th edition of the Miss Nepal pageant. Last year's titleholders Priyanka Rani Joshi, Sareesha Shrestha, and Nancy Khadka crowned their respective successors at the end of the event. Miss Nepal 2023: Meet the 24 contestants

Miss Nepal 2023, the 27th edition of the Miss Nepal pageant presented by Dabur Vatika will be held on May 27 at the Godavari Sunrise Convention Center in Lalitpur. Following rounds of auditions across all provinces of the country, a total of 24 contestants were officially sashed last March 31 by The Hidden Treasure Director Diwakar Rajkarnikar at Park Village Resort, Budalinkantha. Three new titleholders will be crowned by outgoing queens Miss Nepal World 2022 Priyanka Rani Joshi, Miss Nepal Earth 2022 Sareesha Shrestha, and Miss Nepal International 2022 Nancy Khadka at the culmination of this year's event. Their respective successors will go on to represent Nepal at international competitions — Miss World 2024, Miss Earth 2023 (Vietnam), and Miss International 2023 (Japan) pageants. The grand coronation show of Miss Nepal 2023 will be broadcast exclusively on Kantipur Television (KTV) and live streaming on the pageant's official YouTube channel. Meet the 24 contestants:

Miss Universe Nepal 2022 is Sophiya Bhujel

Sophiya Bhujel was crowned Miss Universe Nepal 2022 in a glittering show held Thursday, August 25 at Hotel Yak & Yeti in Kathmandu. The 26-year-old beauty, who holds a degree in business management, bested 19 other finalists to win her national title. She succeeds last year's winner Sujita Basnet and will represent her country at Miss Universe 2022, whose date and venue are yet to be announced. Bipana Adhikari was named first runner-up while Ashma KC finished as second runner-up. Sefina Joshi and Monalisha Parajuli were the third and fourth runners-up, respectively. This year's competition was the third edition of the Miss Universe Nepal pageant under the leadership of former titleholder Nagma Shrestha. The new Miss Universe Nepal is no stranger to pageantry. This year's edition will take place on Thursday, August 25 at Nepal's finest 5-star luxury Hotel Yak & Yeti in Kathmandu and the winner will compete in Miss Universe 2022. Miss Nepal 2022: Meet the newly crowned Nepalese beauties for Miss World, Miss International and Miss Earth

Three titles were at stake during the Miss Nepal 2022 final competition organized by The Hidden Treasure on Saturday, June 18 at Godavari Sunrise Convention Center in Lalitpur. Over 20 beauties from across Nepal competed for the titles Miss Nepal World, Miss Nepal International and Miss Nepal Earth. Priyanka Rani Joshi, a 24-year-old entrepreneur from Kathmandu, was crowned Miss Nepal World 2022. The Miss Nepal International and Miss Nepal Earth 2022 titles were respectively awarded to Sareesha Shrestha and Nancy Khadka. They will represent Nepal in the next edition of the Miss World, Miss Earth, and Miss International pageants. Sanish Shrestha and Keshu Khadka win Mister and Miss Supranational Nepal 2022

The Mister and Miss Supranational Nepal 2022 national competition was held at Soaltee Hotel, Kathmandu on Monday, May 30. Twenty contestants from over 100 applicants competed in the finals. They were challenged on fitness, talent, swimwear, and top model in the preliminary rounds. Sanish Shrestha, a 23-year-old cinematographer, was named Mister Supranational Nepal 2022 while Keshu Khadka, a 27-year-old dentist, clinched the title Miss Supranational Nepal 2022. They will represent their country at the international Mister and Miss Supranational 2022 final in Poland this July. The first and second runners-up were Manash K. Miss Universe Nepal 2021 is Sujita Basnet

Sujita Basnet was crowned Miss Universe Nepal 2021 in a national competition held on Saturday, October 30 at the Hotel Yak & Yeti in Durbar Marg, Kathmandu. The 28-year-old US resident is a management consultant who holds a bachelor’s degree in biomedical/medical engineering. She was last year's runner-up to her predecessor, Anshika Sharma. Nina Kant Mandal was named first runner-up while Rakchya Upreti secured the second runner-up finish. Pratiksha Chhetri and Keshu Khadka were the third and fourth runners-up, respectively. The new Miss Universe Nepal is the founder of LiberatED, a program that aims to empower and uplift the youth from under-resourced communities through education, leadership training, and access to resources. The Top 18 semifinalists of Miss Universe Nepal 2021 have been officially announced on Sunday, October 10. From the Top 50, only 18 beauties were selected for the close camp & grand final following their commendable scores from the average in swimsuit walk, live interview, and voting. The Top 18 semifinalists are Anuska Adhikari, Pratikshya Mahara Chhetri, Bristi Acharya, Arya Nishaant, Sadiksha Khadka, Anisha Poudel, Smarika Karki, Swikriti Khadka, Mandira Karki, Nina Kant Mandal, Bibhuti Gautam, Sagarika Malla, Sujita Basnet, Smita Neupane, Sagun Gurung, Keshu Khadka, Pritima Panthi, and Rakchya Upreti. Miss Nepal 2020: Namrata Shrestha to represent Nepal at the 70th Miss World

Namrata Shrestha bested 20 other contestants to be crowned Miss Nepal World 2020 in a national competition held on Saturday, December 5. She succeeds last year’s titleholder, Anushka Shrestha. The 23-year-old sociology student and a kindergarten teacher will represent Nepal at the 70th Miss World pageant to be held in the last quarter of 2021. Sandhya Sharma, Supriya Shrestha, and Simal Kanaujiya were named Miss Nepal International, Miss Nepal Earth, and Miss Nepal Supranational, respectively, while Merisa Singh Suwal and Ayesha Shrestha completed the Top 6.
