Meet the winners of Miss Nepal 2024


The Miss Nepal 2024 final competition was held on Saturday, August 3 at the Godavari Sunrise Convention Center in Lalitpur.

A total of 26 contestants from across the country competed during the 28th edition of the annual competition.

Crowned Miss Nepal World 2024 is a 26-year-old entrepreneur and social worker from Kathmandu, Ashma Kumari KC.

She succeeds last year's titleholder, Srichchha Pradhan, and will represent Nepal at the 73rd Miss World.

Raina Majgaiya and Prasiddhy Shah also crowned their respective successors during the live telecast on Himalaya TV.

Miss Nepal Earth 2024 Sumana KC from Chitwan and Miss Nepal International 2024 Karuna Rawat from Tanahun will represent Nepal at Miss Earth 2024 and Miss International 2024, respectively.

Simrika Manandhar, Preravita Swar, and Shraddha Suman Silwal rounded out the Top 6 finalists.

The rest of the Top 13 were Ambika Rana, Anisha Malla, Anjana Pun, Irina Shrestha, Kimti Shrestha, Nivita Chapagain, and Saamin Koirala.

Meet the newly crowned Reina Filipinas 2026 queens

The inaugural edition of the Reina Filipinas beauty pageant was held on Friday, August 7 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City. Palawan's Angelica Lopez, former Miss International Philippines, was crowned Reina Filipinas Grand International 2026 and will represent the Philippines at Miss Miss Grand International 2026 pageant this October. Alexie Caimoso Brooks, former Miss Eco International winner, from Iloilo and Anne Patricia Lorenzo Diaz, former Miss International Queen Philippines, from Manila were both crowned Reina Filipinas MGI All Stars 2026. Aslihan Morali crowned Miss Universe Canada 2026

Aslihan Morali, from Ancaster, Ontario, was crowned Miss Universe Canada 2026 on Saturday, August 8 at the Chrysler Theatre in Windsor. The Turkish-Canadian advocate, entrepreneur, model and actor succeeds last year's winner Jaime VandenBerg and will represent Canada at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Puerto Rico this November. First runner-up Jabili Kandula was named Miss Cosmo Canada 2026 and will head to Vietnam for the Miss Cosmo 2026 competition later this year. Tharina Botes, representing Bangkok, was crowned Miss Universe Thailand 2026 on Sunday, August 23 at MGI Hall in Bangkok. The 29-year-old beauty beat over 70 other contestants to win the national title and she will now represent Thailand at Miss Universe 2026 in Puerto Rico this November. Suttida Aiadpu of Phuket was named first runner-up while Helena Sarakan of Udon Thani, Sasiwararin Atsawahirankarn of Chiang Mai, and Manatsawee Nilbuala of Ubon Ratchathani were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Melissa Bottema was proclaimed the winner of Miss Netherlands 2026 (Miss Universe Netherlands) on Saturday, June 27 at Studio 21 in Hilversum. The 27-year-old model and actress will represent Spain at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant in Puerto Rico this November. The 17th Miss Supranational beauty pageant was held on Friday, July 31 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. Katrina Llegado, a 28-year-old financial management graduate from the Philippines, was crowned Miss Supranational 2026 by her predecessor Eduarda Braum of Brazil. She bested over 60 other contestants to win her country's second Miss Supranational crown after Miss Supranational 2013 Mutya Datul.
