Miss Philippines Earth 2025 is Joy Barcoma of Bacoor City


Joy Barcoma was hailed the winner of Miss Philippines Earth 2025 on Sunday, August 10 at the 5-star Okada Manila hotel in Parañaque City.

The 26-year-old host and consultant representing Bacoor City was crowned by her predecessor Irha Mel Alfeche of Matanao, Davao del Sur, who made the Top 12 at Miss Earth 2024 last November.

Liz Mabao of Antipolo City was named Miss Philippines Air while Angel Rose Tambal of La Paz (Leyte), Jaymie Strickland of Tallahassee (Florida, USA), and Kriezl Jane Torres of Talakag (Bukidnon) clinched the Miss Philippines Water, Fire, and Eco Tourism, respectively.

The newly crowned Miss Philippines Earth became the 25th winner of the annual national competition. She will represent her country at Miss Earth 2025, the silver anniversary edition of the Miss Earth pageant, whose date and venue are yet to be announced.

Joy is a graduate of Polytechnic University of the Philippines with a degree in broadcasting. She is a passionate ambassador of LoveYourself, Inc. and is an advocate for mental health.

No stranger to pageantry, she has joined the Miss World Philippines 2021 pageant representing Mandaluyong and made the Top 24. She also bagged the Beauty With A Purpose award.

Puerto Rico's Ivana Carolina Irizarry crowned Universal Woman 2025

Ivana Carolina Irizarry, representing Puerto Rico, was crowned Universal Woman 2025 on Saturday, August 10 in Jaipur, India. The 30-year-old model, presenter and businesswoman made history as the first Puerto Rican woman to clinch the international title. She succeeds last year's winner Maria Gigante of the Philippines. Iris Miguélez of Spain was named first runner-up while Ismelys Velásquez of Venezuela, Katty López España of Ecuador, and Roci Pankov of Brazil were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Miss Universe Dominican Republic 2025 is Jennifer Ventura

Jennifer Ventura Marte emerged as the winner of Miss Universe Dominican Republic 2025 on Sunday, August 10 at Teatro Nacional Eduardo Brito in Santo Domingo. The 27-year-old civil engineer from Barahona bested 28 other contestants to win the national title. She will represent the Dominican Republic at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Jearmanda Ramos of Punta Cana and Criselys Garcia of Peravia were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Gabrielle Henry bested over 20 other contestants to be crowned Miss Universe Jamaica 2025 on Saturday, August 9 at AC Hotel in Kingston. The 28-year-old medical doctor will represent Jamaica at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. She succeeds last year's winner Rachel Silvera. Miss Denmark org releases statement after losing Miss Universe license

The Miss Denmark Organization no longer holds the license for Miss Universe Denmark while Dubai based Filipino socialite Josh Yugen recently emerged as new national director. Bereniece Dickenson was proclaimed the winner of Miss Universe Turks and Caicos 2025 last Friday, August 1 at Gustarvus Lightbourne Sports Complex in Kew Town Settlement. The 22-year-old architecture and building technology graduate from Salt Cay will represent the Turks and Caicos Islands at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Sweden's Yvonne Ryding celebrates 40 years since winning Miss Universe 1984

Let's walk down memory lane as 40 years ago, Fröken Sverige Yvonne Agneta Ryding was crowned Miss Universe 1984 during the 33rd Miss Universe pageant in Miami, Florida. At age 21, she became the third Swedish woman in history to become Miss Universe.
