A 24-year-old model, Melisha Lin, was named Miss Supranational Malaysia 2022 after gaining the highest position in the overall fan vote last May 14. The Malaysian representative to the upcoming Miss Supranational 2022 competition in Poland this July, edged out another contender for the title, Vinthiya Vasu. Melisha holds a degree in marketing management from the University of Greenwich. She is expected to be crowned in a ceremony in Kuala Lumpur this June with the renowned actress and former Miss Supranational Malaysia Sanjna Suri as a special guest. The Miss and Mister Supranational Thailand 2022 national pageant was held on Friday, May 20 at Show DC's Ultra Arena Hall in Bangkok. Praewwanich Ruangthong, 29, was named Miss Supranational Thailand 2022 while Yoyo Teenarupakorn Muangmai, 27, clinched the Mister Supranational Thailand 2022 title. They will represent their country at Miss and Mister Supranational 2022 in Poland this July. "Finally I’ve reached my dream, and I promise that I will do my best for Thailand in [Mister Supranational] 2022," the new Mister Supranational Thailand shared on social media after winning his title. The new Miss Supranational Thailand also took to social media to share a photo of her crowning moment and wrote "I did it" in the caption. "I AM SUPRA and I’m from Thailand. Next station is Poland," she said in another post. Reigning Miss Supranational Chanique Rabe, and former Miss Supranational queens Mutya Datul and Anntonia Porsild, were special guests at the event.

A send-off event was held for Miss Supranational Vietnam 2022 Nguyen Huynh Kim Duyen and Mister Supranational Vietnam 2022 Dat Kyo who will represent their country at Miss and Mister Supranational 2022 in Poland this July. This year's national competition was also officially launched. The press conference took place at Sheraton Saigon Hotel & Towers in Ho Chi Minh City on Tuesday, May 17. Miss Supranational Paraná, Giovanna Reis, was crowned Miss Supranational Brasil 2022 in a national competition held at Hotel Sibara Flat & Convenções (Sibara Hotel Convention Center) in Santa Catarina on Friday, May 6. The 21-year-old businesswoman, model and interior design student from Cascavel bested 26 other beauties to win her title. She succeeds last year's titleholder Deise Benício. Rio Grande Do Sul's Larissa Grabin and Tocantins' Anna Perillo were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Guanabara's Marcele Cataldo, Rio Grand Do Norte's Adriana Yanca, and Distrito Federal's Carol Tibery completed the Top 6 finalists. Five national titles were at stake at the culmination of this year's Miss Czech Republic pageant that took place at Fórum Karlín in Prague on Saturday, May 7. Krystyna Pyszková, a 23-year-old model and student from Třince was named Miss Czech Republic 2022 / Miss World Czech Republic 2022. She succeeds Karolína Kopíncová and will now prepare to represent the Czech Republic at the 71st Miss World (Miss World 2022) later this year. Adéla Maděryčová (23), Kristýna Malířová (23), Mariana Bečková (23), and Karolína Syroťuková (20) clinched the titles Miss International Czech Republic, Miss Supranational Czech Republic, Miss Grand Czech Republic and Miss Intercontinental Czech Republic, respectively. They will be sent to the next edition of their respective international competitions namely Miss International, Miss Supranational, Miss Grand International, and Miss Intercontinental. The Concurso Nacional de Belleza Ecuador 2022 (CNB Ecuador) pageant was held on Saturday, April 30 at the Teatro Sánchez Aguilar in Samborondón. Miss Santa Elena, Annie Zambrano, was proclaimed Señorita Ecuador 2022 (Miss World Ecuador). The 22-year-old entrepreneur who is pursuing her bachelor's degree in languages will represent Ecuador at Miss World 2022 later this year. Another winner of the competition is Valery Carabalí who was named Miss Supranational Ecuador 2022. She will travel to Nowy Sacz in Malopolska, Poland to compete for the Miss Supranational 2022 title this July. Gabriela Andrade and María Paula López were proclaimed Virreina Nacional and first princess, respectively. Last year's titleholders Amar Pacheco and Justeen Cruz successfully relinquished their reigns to their respective successors at the end of the event. Miss Supranational 2021 Chanique Rabe arrived in Guayaquil, Ecuador earlier this week as a special guest in the upcoming CNB Ecuador 2022 (Concurso Nacional de Belleza) pageant. The Namibian beauty was also part of the panel of judges who are tasked to choose the next Ecuadorian representative at Miss Supranational 2022 in Poland this July. Miss and Mister Supranational Organization has officially announced today that the 13th Miss Supranational and the 6th Mister Supranational competition will return to the city of Nowy Sacz in Małopolska, Poland this June and July. “Last year, our contestants truly enjoyed the beauty of the spectacular landscapes of Malopolska in the summer as well as the warmth of the local people. During the Festival of Beauty, we enjoyed a variety of activities that we showed proudly to our global audience. We are planning even more exciting adventures this year,” the organization president Gerhard Parzutka von Lipinski said in a statement.
