Miss Supranational Malaysia 2022 is Melisha Lin


A 24-year-old model, Melisha Lin, was named Miss Supranational Malaysia 2022 after gaining the highest position in the overall fan vote last May 14.

The Malaysian representative to the upcoming Miss Supranational 2022 competition in Poland this July, edged out another contender for the title, Vinthiya Vasu.

Melisha holds a degree in marketing management from the University of Greenwich. She is expected to be crowned in a ceremony in Kuala Lumpur this June with the renowned actress and former Miss Supranational Malaysia Sanjna Suri as a special guest.

"One thing I hereby promise each and every one of you is that I will do better than my very best in Poland to make Malaysia proud," she wrote on social media.

Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 is Nguyen Thi Ngoc Chau

Nguyen Thi Ngoc Chau bested 40 other contestants to win Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 on Saturday, June 25 at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in Ho Chi Minh City. Le Thao Nhi and Huynh Pham Thuy Tien were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Le Hoang Phuong and Nguyen Thi Huong Ly completed the Top 5 finalists. Reining Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu together with former queens Catriona Gray and Natalie Glebova graced the competition as international judges. Toa Baja representative Elena Rivera was crowned Miss Mundo Puerto Rico 2022 (Miss World Puerto Rico 2022) during the national competition held on Thursday, June 30 at Centro de Bellas Artes de Caguas. Amanda Pérez Solis of Río Grande and Andrea Carolina Rivera of Lares were the first and second runners-up, respectively. A total of 30 contestants competed for the coveted national title and the right to represent Puerto Rico at the 71st Miss World pageant.
