Send-off event held for Miss and Mister Supranational Vietnam 2022, national competition launched


A send-off event was held for Miss Supranational Vietnam 2022 Nguyen Huynh Kim Duyen and Mister Supranational Vietnam 2022 Dat Kyo who will represent their country at Miss and Mister Supranational 2022 in Poland this July.

This year's national competition was also officially launched. The press conference took place at Sheraton Saigon Hotel & Towers in Ho Chi Minh City on Tuesday, May 17.

Unimedia in collaboration with Leading Media will organize a special reality TV format for the pageant which is expected to run for several months and the final will take place later this year.

Gerhard Parzutka Von Lipinsky, founder and president of the Miss and Mister Supranational pageants, was a special guest during the event.

The event was also attended by Vietnam's very own Mister International Trinh Van Bao and Miss Universe 2018 Top 5 finalist H’Hen Nie.

Miguel Alejandro Ortega Alaniz, representing Spain, was proclaimed the winner of Mister Global 2025 on Sunday, October 5 at MCC Hall in Bangkok, Thailand. The 26-year-old personal trainer and sports enthusiast from Valencia bested 35 other contestants to win the male beauty title. He succeeds Daumier Corilla from the Philippines. William Badell of Venezuela and Alejandro Silva of Mexico were the first and second runners-up, respectively. Isabela Fernandez was proclaimed Miss Asia Pacific International 2025 on Wednesday, October 8 at the Cebu Coliseum in Cebu City, Philippines. The 28-year-old model from Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais beat over 40 other contestants to win the international beauty title. Fatima Bosch was crowned Miss Universe Mexico 2025 on Saturday, September 13 at Sala Placido Domingo (Conjunto Santander de Artes Escénicas) in Zapopan, Jalisco. The 22-year-old model and medical student from Moscow edged out 49 other contestants to win the national competition.
