Fresh from her trip to Thailand for the Institution of HIV Research and Innovation Thailand (IHRI), former Miss Universe Catriona Gray went to visit her wax figure at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong. Launched last year in Singapore, it has now moved to Hong Kong and joined other Filipino pride Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach and one of the greatest professional boxers of all time Manny "Pacman" Pacquaio. To recall, it was the first and only Filipino wax figure to be featured in Madame Tussauds Singapore. Its official launch was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is wearing a copy of the iconic Mayon volcano-inspired lava gown created by Filipino fashion designer Mak Tumang and a Philippines sash for Miss Universe 2018 which was held in Bangkok. Moraya Wilson bested 23 other finalists to be crowned Miss Universe Australia 2023 in a national competition held on Friday, September 1 at the Sofitel Melbourne on Collins. The 21-year-old model and sports coach from Melbourne, currently pursuing her degree in business marketing at RMIT University, will now prepare to represent Australia at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador this November. Farida Singatoulina was named first runner-up while Brooklyn Metropolis, Natasha Knox, and Bree Monck were announced as the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Rounding out the Top 10 finalists were Vimbayi Hakutangwi, Brooke Baily, Johara Pillay, Lily Goodare, and Sené Maluwapi. The new Miss Universe Australia received the new Stelios Jewellers' crown which was inspired by Banksia tree leaves. Following rounds of auditions across Zimbabwe, the Top 25 contestants vying for Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2023 have been officially announced. This year's pageant will be the first edition of Miss Universe Zimbabwe under the new national director Tendai Hunda, a former Miss World Zimbabwe and Miss Intercontinental 2015 fourth runner-up. Miss Universe Australia 2023 will be wearing a brand new crown inspired by the enchanting Banksia tree leaves. Designed and crafted by Stelios Jewellers in Perth, the exquisite masterpiece is an ode to Australia's incredible wildlife, flora and fauna. Banksia is an iconic Australian native evergreen tree or shrub named after English naturalist and botanist Sir Joseph Banks, who first recorded its discovery in the 18th century. The new crown is adorned with natural Australian blue, green, and yellow sapphires, meticulously crafted in yellow and white gold. Miss USA 2023 schedule of events — costume show, preliminary and final competition

In just a few weeks, Miss USA 2023, the 72nd edition of the Miss USA pageant will happen at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada. The much-awaited event will be the third edition to be hosted in the "Biggest Little City in the World" after 2019 and 2022, and the first since fashion designer Laylah Rose took over the directorship from former Miss USA Crystle Stewart. Contestants from 50 states and the District of Columbia, crowned from different state competitions held between September 2022 and August 2023, will be vying for the coveted title currently held by Morgan Romano of North Carolina. Miss Universe Japan 2023 is Rio Miyazaki

Rio Miyazaki was crowned Miss Universe Japan 2023 in a national competition held on Wednesday, August 30 at the Yamano Hall in Tokyo. The 20-year-old early childhood education student at Kyoritsu Women's University from Shizuoka Prefecture beat 30 other competitors to win the coveted national title. Nana Miwa and Risa Morishita were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Mio Yamamoto and Misaki Matsumoto rounded out the Top 5 finalists. The rest of the Top 11 semifinalists were Kana Takada, Karen Miyazawa, Mina Yasukawa, Ria Iuchi, Sayaka Uechi, and Yuma Enomoto. Last year's winner Marybelen Sakamoto crowned her successor at the end of the glittering event. An official sashing ceremony will take place this Friday, September 1 while the national final and coronation will be on Saturday, September 2 at Guyana Marriott Hotel in Georgetown. Nikoline Uhrenholt Hansen bested 29 other competitors to be crowned Miss Denmark 2023 on Sunday, August 27 at Cirkusbygningen (The Circus Building) in Copenhagen. The 21-year-old beauty who also bagged the Best Charity Ambassador award succeeded last year's winner Malou Peters from Næstved and went home with a prize package worth over 60,000 Danish kroner. Nikoline is currently a marketing and economics student at the Copenhagen Business Academy and also works as a receptionist at a cosmetic clinic. Fatmagül Karabacak and Naja Mathilde Rosing were announced as the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Sille Lyngsdorf Albertsen and Julie Brink rounded out the Top 5 finalists.
