Miss World Trinidad and Tobago 2024 is Anna-Lise Nanton

Miss Pax Vale, Anna-Lise Nanton was crowned Miss World Trinidad and Tobago 2024 on Sunday, June 23 at the National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA) - Lord Kitchener Auditorium in Port of Spain. The 26-year-old geotechnical engineer and athlete from Santa Cruz is now expected to represent Trinidad and Tobago at the 72nd Miss World festival. Miss Aranguez, Prishni Rampersadsingh, and Miss Toco, Hannah Roberts, were announced as the first and second runners-up, respectively. The new Miss World Trinidad and Tobago succeeds  Aché Abrahams who placed in the Top 4 and was awarded the title Miss World Caribbean at the 71st Miss World last March in Mumbai, India. Miss World Trinidad and Tobago 2022 is Aché Abrahams

Miss Maracas Valley, Aché Abrahams, was crowned Miss World Trinidad and Tobago 2022 in a glittering competition held on Sunday, November 6 at the National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA), Port of Spain. The 23-year-old creative artist, a mental health advocate, and social activist residing in Cantaro, Santa Cruz, beat 16 other finalists to win the national title. She succeeds last year's winner Jeanine Brandt and will now prepare to represent her country at the 71st Miss World pageant. Miss Cunupia, Dania Duntin and Miss Arima, Jemima Pierre were respectively announced as the first and second runners-up while Miss Claxton Bay, Janelle Pirmal and Miss San Juan, Savannah Sandy rounded out the Top 5 finalists. The last of the five fast track challenges for the Miss World Trinidad and Tobago 2022 pageant, the Talent Competition, was held on Sunday, October 30 at Estate 101 in Maraval. At the end of the impressive showcase of talents, the Top 3 were announced and they are Miss Carenage, Lystia Mulzac; Miss Cunupia, Dania Duntin; and Miss Maracas Valley, Ache Abrahams. The Top 5 finalists for the Miss World Trinidad and Tobago 2022 Beauty With A Purpose (BWAP) fast track challenge have been officially announced. This challenge showcases the contestants' inspirational projects and the social causes they advocate. The winner will automatically earn a spot in the Top 10 which will be announced during the final on November 6 at the National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA), Port of Spain. Following a lengthy and deliberative selection process, the chosen finalists are Miss Cunupia, Dania Duntin; Miss Maracas Valle, Ache Abrahams; Miss San Juan, Savannah Sandy; Miss Arima, Jemima Pierre; and Miss Diamond Vale, Emma-Leigh Aqui. The Miss World Trinidad and Tobago (MWTT) 2022 Top Model Competition took place on Saturday, October 15 at the Toyota Showroom South Park in San Fernando. At the end of the competition, Miss Arima (Jemima Pierre), Miss Maracas Valley (Aché Abrahams), and Miss Plymouth (Karielle Ramsden) were announced as the Top 3 and the winner will be revealed during the grand final on Sunday, November 6 at the National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA), Port of Spain. Also during the event, Daronte Guadeloupe was chosen as the Top Designer with a custom dress worn by Miss Arima. The winning dress was made from bridal satin and hand painted with acrylic fabric paint and consisted of a bustier and an eight-panel gore coat, paired with bell trousers. It was made with over 10 yards of fabric and evokes regality and epitomizes elegance and sophistication. Seventeen young women were selected to compete in the upcoming Miss World Trinidad and Tobago 2022 final. They were officially revealed last September 4 at The Brix, Autograph Collection in Port of Spain. Following a series of pre-pageant activities and training, the final competition will take place on November 6 at the National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA). Last year's winner Jeanine Brandt will crown her successor at the culmination of the event. The next Miss World Trinidad and Tobago will represent her country at the 71st Miss World pageant. Trinidad and Tobago's Jeanine Brandt releases statement on controversial Miss World video

Reigning Miss World Trinidad and Tobago Jeanine Brandt released an official statement on the controversial video clip of her presentation for the 70th Miss World Beauty With A Purpose Head to Head Challenge that circulated on social media. The beauty queen claimed thousands of children in Trinidad and Tobago live in poverty, sleep on cold grounds in makeshift homes, and have limited or no access to running water, food, school, and healthcare. Her critics complained it was an inaccurate portrayal of life in the dual-island Caribbean nation. "Over the past two years, I have worked assiduously through my NGO The Brandt Beauty Foundation to aid and support underprivileged communities. My intention was never to portray our twin-island nation in a negative light or to bring ill repute to the Miss World Trinidad and Tobago Franchise," she said in her official statement. Miss Palmiste, Jeanine Brandt, was crowned Miss World Trinidad and Tobago 2021 in a competition held on Sunday, January 31 at the South Academy for the Performing Arts (SAPA) in San Fernando. The 25-year-old professional makeup artist and founder of the Brandt Beauty Foundation bested 13 other contestants to win the title. Miss Marabella, Manisha Moonilal, and Miss Sand Fernando, Elisheva Phillips, were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Miss Union Village, Tobago, Ameika Louis, and Miss Chaguanas, Jemima Pierre, completed the Top 5.
