Camila Andrea Pinzon, representing Boyaca, was crowned Miss Mundo Colombia 2022 (Miss World Colombia) on Saturday, August 20 in Bogota. The 26-year-old beauty who holds two master's degrees in marketing and business from the Sorbonne University in Paris will represent Colombia at the 71st Miss World pageant. She speaks several languages including French, English, Italian, German, and her native Spanish. Sofia Donado of Magdalena was named Virreina while Eleonora Penagos of Bogota and Miranda Rodríguez of Guaviare were the first and second runners-up, respectively. Last year's titleholder, Andrea Aguilera, who placed in the Top 13 at 70th Miss World, relinquished her crown at the end of the event. The Miss Czech Republic organization officially opened the registration for the Miss Czech Republic 2023 edition earlier this month. Applicants must be 17 to 25 years old and hold Czech citizenship. Other nationalities can also apply but they must have already been granted permanent residence at the time of registration. Castings will kick off on September 9 in Prague. Registration forms as well as the casting schedules and locations are available at the Miss Czech Republic official website .
