Sakhile Dube joins Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2024


Fashion model Sakhile Dube has been officially revealed as one of the contestants vying for Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2024.

The 27-year-old fashionista, representing Bulawayo, is currently pursuing fashion design and styling studies at the Milan School of Fashion in Italy.

No stranger to pageantry, Sakhile previously held the title of Miss Earth Zimbabwe and represented her country at Miss Earth 2022 in the Philippines. She finished in the Top 8 among 85 contestants.

Last year, she was named Miss Supranational Zimbabwe and went on to participate in Miss Supranational 2023 in Poland where she not only placed in the Top 24 but also bagged the continental title of Miss Supranational Africa 2023.

The Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2024 final competition will be held on May 18 in Harare. Brooke Bruk-Jackson's successor will go to Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico later this year.

The coronation ball for The Miss Philippines 2026 took place on Sunday, May 10, at the Grand Ballroom in City of Dreams Manila. Olivia Yacé of Côte d'Ivoire steps down as Miss Universe Africa and Oceania

Miss Universe Côte d'Ivoire 2025 Olivia Yacé has officially announced on Monday, November 24 her resignation as Miss Universe Africa and Oceania. "As the representative of Côte d'Ivoire at the Miss Universe 2025 competition in Bangkok, i witnessed firsthand that i was capable of accomplishing great things despite adversity," Olivia wrote on social media. Nadia Mejia-Webb, representing Comunidad USA, was crowned Miss Universe Ecuador 2025 in a national competition held on Saturday, July 26 at Palacio de Cristal in Guayaquil. The 29-year-old model and singer will now prepare to represent Ecuador at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. After 17 years, former Miss France Sylvie Tellier has officially announced her departure from the Miss France organization. The 44-year-old took to social media on Wednesday, August 31 to make a public statement on her decision to leave, which was made "with a lot of emotion because you don't leave a company after 17 years without memories in your head." Bea Millan-Windorski of La Union was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2026 during the final of the national pageant on Saturday, May 2 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. The 24-year-old Filipino-American beauty succeeded Maria Ahtisa Manalo from Quezon Province. The spectacular Miss Universe Philippines 2026 national costume competition took place on Thursday, April 16 at the Urdaneta City Cultural and Sports Center in Pangasinan. Patthama Jitsawat, representing the Thai province of Chonburi, was crowned Miss Grand Thailand 2026 on Saturday, March 28 at MGI Hall in Bangkok.
