Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2024 is Sakhile Dube


Pageant veteran Sakhile Dube was crowned Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2024 in a national competition held on Saturday, May 18 in Harare.

The 27-year-old fashion model from Bulawayo will now prepare to represent Zimbabwe at the Miss Universe 2024 competition in Mexico later this year.

Lisa Sibanda was named first runner-up while Ruvimbo Tafadzwa finished as the second runner-up.

This year's pageant marked the second edition since former beauty queen Tendai Hunda took over the Miss Universe license, 22 years after Zimbabwe last joined the prestigious international pageant.

Last year's winner Brooke Bruk-Jackson, the silver finalist in the Miss Universe 2023 "Voice for Change" challenge, passed the crown to her successor at the end of the event.

The new Miss Universe Zimbabwe is no stranger to pageantry, having joined Miss Earth 2022 in the Philippines and placed in the Top 8.

She also went to Miss Supranational 2023 in  Nowy Sącz, Poland where she earned a Top 24 placement and took home the Miss Supranational Africa 2023 continental title.

Sakhile is advocating for equal educational opportunities for orphans and vulnerable children.

75th Miss Universe: Miss Universe 2026 Fan Vote is officially OPEN

With just weeks left before the Miss Universe 2026 pageant in Puerto Rico, the Miss Universe Organization (MUO) has announced the official start of fan voting. Fans can visit missuniverseorg.com to view profiles of the official contestants and cast their votes. The contestant earning the most fan votes will automatically advance to the Top 30. Beyond voting for a Top 30 spot, fans can also participate in special voting categories such as Best Evening Gown, Best Swimsuit, and Best National Costume. According to MUO, the launch of fan voting is part of Crown Season, the period of celebration leading up to the final show, during which fans can engage with the Miss Universe experience and show their support for contestants from their countries. The 75th Miss Universe officially launches on November 8, when the contestants arrive in Puerto Rico to begin activities that will culminate in crowning of the next Miss Universe in front of a global audience on November 24. Cuba's Leah Reyes Amores crowned Miss Teen Universe 2026

Leah Reyes Amores of Cuba was crowned Miss Teen Universe 2026 on Sunday, October 25 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The 16-year-old student from Miami received her crown from last year's winner Amira Moreno of Venezuela. She is the second Cuban representative to win the title next to Lynette Arce-Garcia (Miss Teen Universe 2023). Mailyn Reese Marsh of Hungary was named first runner-up while Catherine Wardle of the Philippines finished as second runner-up. The rest of the runners-up were Noa Jansen of the Netherlands (third), Kiran Reddy of the USA (fourth), Adeeko Omokehinde Omotoyosi of Nigeria (fifth), and Shaniya MacLeod of Indonesia (sixth). Angélique Angarni-Filopon from Martinique beat 29 other contestants to win Miss France 2025 on Saturday, December 14 at the Futuroscope Arena in Vienne, Nouvelle-Aquitaine. The 34-year-old flight attendant became the oldest winner of the prestigious national pageant. She also made history as the first woman from Martinique to become Miss France.
