Iliya Shahedi was named Mister International Netherlands 2022 on Saturday, September 17 in a competition held at Zalencentrum De Brug in Reeuwijk. The 23-year-old fitness enthusiast of Persian descent succeeds last year's winner Mike Van Doorn and he will now prepare to represent the Netherlands at the 14th Mister International pageant in the Philippines this October. At the same event, Franklin Lopes and Kenji Schoonderwoerd respectively clinched the titles Mister Senior and Junior Netherlands 2022. Muž roku 2022 (Man of the Year) was held last August 26 in Náchod, a town in the Hradec Králové Region of the Czech Republic. Matěj Švec, a 23-year-old football player, fitness trainer, and co-owner of a gym in Český Krumlov, was named Muž roku 2022. He also received the title Mister International Czech Republic 2022 and is expected to represent his country at the Mister International pageant. The runners-up, software developer Filip Šanda, 28, and barber Leon Vonaký, 20, were awarded the titles Man of the Year Czech Republic and Mister Global Czech Republic 2022, respectively. As titleholders, they are also expected to compete overseas in Man of the Year and Mister Global competitions. Kim Hee Won was named Mister International Korea 2022 in a national competition held on Monday, August 29 in Seoul. The 28-year-old model and former football player from Jinju bested 33 other contestants to win the national title. Lee Yong Woo and Kim You Soo were the first runners-up; Kim Jon Wook, Yoo Byeong Eun, and Hong Seok Jin were the second runners-up; and Kim Sang Hun and Lee Won Young were the third runners-up. Juan Pablo Colías is Spain's representative for the upcoming 14th Mister International pageant in the Philippines. The 25-year-old model and aspiring firefighter from La Mudarra, Valladolid represented his province during Mister RNB España 2021 and bagged the title Mister RNB España Internacional 2022.
