Miss USA 2022 pageant has officially kicked off in “The Biggest Little City in the World” with the contestants already checked in and ready to slay the competition. Along with Miss Teen USA 2022, the highly anticipated annual event with the motto "Pageantry Reimagined" is taking place at the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino in Reno Tahoe, Nevada. As reported earlier, the venue was chosen to honor the late former Miss USA Cheslie Kryst and her legacy as this is the same place where she was crowned in 2019. The Miss USA Organization (The Miss Brand Corp.) headed by Crystle Stewart (Miss USA 2008) has also just announced the launch of its streaming service so fans can watch the live shows on a pay per view basis comfortably at home. While Miss USA 2022 final will be broadcast exclusively on FYI and Hulu Live, the Costume Show, Preliminary Competition, and the Miss Teen USA 2022 final can be watched online. Miss Earth Slovenije 2022 (Miss Earth Slovenia) will be held on Saturday, October 8 at the La Vie hall in Kostanjevica na Krki. A total of 12 finalists were chosen to participate in the upcoming event and one of them succeeds last year's titleholder Asja Bonnie Pivk. The next Miss Earth Slovenije is expected to represent her country at the Miss Earth 2022 pageant in the Philippines this November. Jennifer Barrantes, representing the region of Ucayali, was crowned Miss World Peru 2022 on Sunday, September 25 in Lima. The 23-year-old beauty is a commercial aviation graduate, a business owner, and an animal advocate. Apart from winning her title, she also bagged several awards including Best Smile, Miss Yolett, and Top Model. Gianella Paz Pacheco of Callao was named first runner-up while Lucia Arellano of Loreto and Fairus Ore of Lima Centro were announced the second and third runners-up, respectively. "La Magia de Ser Miss" (The Magic of Being Miss) premiered on Saturday, September 24 on Venevisión to learn more about the contestants vying for Miss Venezuela 2022. Hosted by the beautiful Nieves Soteldo and the charismatic Mario Bruno, the show featured the first group of contestants representing Apure, La Guaira, Mérida, Nueva Esparta, Táchira, and Yaracuy. Two trailblazing and highly accomplished Indian women met each other on Saturday, September 24 during the Global Citizen Festival in New York City's Central Park. Mayuko Hanawa was crowned Miss Supranational Japan 2022 on Saturday, September 24 at the Kanda Myojin Hall in Tokyo. The 27-year-old Japanese-Filipino teacher who represented the Ibaraki Prefecture will now prepare to compete in the Miss Supranational 2023 pageant in Poland.
