Miss International organization has officially unveiled a brand new crown made by Vietnamese luxury pearl jewelry company Long Beach Pearl . Introduced along with the new Mount Fuji-inspired Miss International Japan crown, the new Miss International crown was inspired by the Japanese national flower — the cherry blossoms which symbolizes "the strength, spirit, culture, and people of Phu Tang." Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc of Vietnam beat 70 other contestants to win the Miss Intercontinental 2022 pageant on Friday, October 14 at the Meraki Resort in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. The 21-year-old model succeeds last year's winner Cinderella Faye Obeñita of the Philippines and made history by becoming the first-ever representative from Vietnam to win the title in the pageant's 50-year history. Puerto Rico's Mariela Pepin was named first runner-up while Brazil's Maria Cecília Almeida de Sousa finished as the second runner-up. Doan Thien An was crowned Miss Grand Vietnam 2022 (Hoa hậu Hòa bình Việt Nam) in a spectacular final show held on Saturday, October 1 at the Phu Tho Indoor Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City. The 22-year-old student from Long An province bested 49 other contestants to win the national title. She will now represent Vietnam at Miss Grand International 2022 in Bali and Jakarta, Indonesia this October. Vietnam's Bui Quynh Hoa was crowned Supermodel International 2022 on Thursday, September 15 at the MAYA Lifestyle Shopping Center in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The 24-year-old model from Hanoi, who placed in the Top 10 at Miss Universe Vietnam 2022, bested 18 other contestants to win the 10th edition of the pageant. Apart from the title, she also bagged the Best in National Costume award. Vietnam's Danh Chieu Linh is the new Mister Global 2021

Mister Global 2021 first runner-up Danh Chieu Linh of Vietnam was officially announced as the new Mister Global 2021 replacing Spain's Miguel Ángel Lucas Carrasco who won the title last March in Thailand. The Mister Global Organization made the official proclamation on Monday, September 5 during a press conference at Sofitel Saigon Plaza in Ho Chi Minh City. "We are so sad to announce that Miguel Ángel Lucas Carrasco has to relinquish his title due to personal reasons that make him unable to fulfill his duties as Mister Global such as traveling to countries for charitable events and inspiring the young generation," the organization's president Pradit Pradinunt said in an official statement. Vietnam's representative for the 50th Miss Intercontinental pageant in Egypt, Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc, was given a special send-off ceremony on Thursday, September 1. The event took place at the Orchids Saigon Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and was attended by the reigning Miss Intercontinental Cinderella Faye Obeñita from the Philippines as an invited special guest. Miss Grand Vietnam 2022 holds press conference, announces schedules

A press conference was held on Thursday, August 18 to officially announce the preliminary and final schedules of Miss Grand Vietnam 2022. The event took place at Sofitel Saigon Plaza and was attended by the reigning Miss Grand International Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien, Sen Vang Entertainment General Director Hoang Nhat Nam, pageant organizers, and sponsors. Former queens, newly crowned Miss World Vietnam 2022 Huynh Nguyen Mai Phuong, and runners-up Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc and Nguyen Phuong Nhi were also present. Schedules for this year's competition consisted of an online preliminary round on August 21 whose qualifiers will move on to face the judges in the next round on August 28. The fashion show, swimsuit, national costume, and final round will take place in September. There will also be a separate competition for the costume designers. In a photo shared by Miss World, the reigning queens wearing beautiful Vietnamese creations were on board a luxury cruiser together with former Miss World Vietnam titleholders Tran Tieu Vy and Luong Thuy Linh. Huynh Nguyen Mai Phuong was crowned Miss World Vietnam 2022 on Friday, August 12 at MerryLand Quy Nhon in the province of Binh Dinh. The 22-year-old beauty from Dong Nai province bested 36 other contestants to win her national title. She will represent her country at the 71st Miss World competition. Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc and Nguyen Phuong Nhi were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Nguyen Thi Phuong Linh and Nguyen Thuy Linh completed the Top 5 finalists. The new Miss World Vietnam is no stranger to pageantry. She won Miss Dong Nai University 2018 in her first pageant and placed in the Top 5 in Miss Vietnam 2020. 70th Miss World Karolina Bielawska has arrived in Vietnam for the first time to attend the Miss World Vietnam 2022 pageant as a special guest. The Polish beauty, who received the warmest welcome from the people, will also visit the Miss World Vietnam Beauty With A Purpose projects as part of her 4-day itinerary. She also had the chance to try her first Vietnamese food and wear an Ao Dai, the country's traditional national garment. In an official press conference that took place on Thursday, August 11 in Binh Dinh, Karolina dazzled like a Disney princess in a pink gown by Vietnamese designer Le Thanh Hoa. It's official, Vietnam to host Miss Earth 2023

Vietnam has been officially announced as host country of the 23rd Miss Earth (Miss Earth 2023) competition. The deal between Nova Entertainment President Truong Ngoc Anh and Carousel Production / Miss Earth Executive Vice President Lorraine Schuck was signed at the Gem Center in Ho Chi Minh City on Monday, July 18. Reigning Miss Earth Destiny Wagner and Miss Earth 2020 Lindsey Coffey were also present during the special event. The details of the competition including the final date and venue are yet to be announced. Nong Thuy Hang was crowned Miss Ethnic Vietnam 2022 in a glittering event held on Saturday, July 16 in Ho Chi Minh City. The 23-year-old beauty from the Tay ethnic group in the northern mountainous province of Ha Giang is a graduate of the National Economics University. Luong Thi Hoa Dan, a 21-year-old student from the Kinh ethnic group in the northern province of Hai Duong, was named first runner-up. A 21-year-old student from the Khmer ethnic group in the Mekong Delta province of Tra Vinh, Thach Thu Thao, finished as second runner-up and was chosen to compete in Miss Earth 2022, possibly in the Philippines later this year. Vietnam to host Miss Grand International 2023

Vietnam has been announced to host the Miss Grand International 2023 competition. It will be the second time the country will host the pageant after 2017. The deal was sealed in an official press conference and contract signing between the Miss Grand International Organization and Senvang Entertainment at Saigon South Marina Club. Reigning Miss Grand International and Vietnam's very own Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien attended the ceremony together with MGI executives Nawat Itsaragrisil and Teresa Chaivisut. Mister Supranational 2022: Cuba, Korea, Mexico, Spain and Vietnam bested Top Model competition

The Mister Supranational 2022 Top Model competition took place on Friday, July 8 at Hotel Beskid, in the city of Nowy Sacz, Poland. Over 30 supra men hit the Top Model runway wearing fashion outfits they had to prepare themselves. Cuba's Luis Daniel Gálvez,  Korea's Han Jung-wan, Mexico's Moises Peñaloza, Spain's Manuel Ndele & Vietnam's Bui Xuan Dat were the judges' choices for the Top 5. One of them will be named Mister Supranational 2022 Top Model and will advance to the Top 20 in the final competition next Saturday, July 16.
