Miss World Chile 2025 is Ignacia Fernández of Las Condes

Ignacia Fernández, representing Las Condes, was crowned Miss World Chile 2025 in a national competition held on Sunday, November 9 in Santiago. The 27-year-old vocalist and model bested 19 other contestants to win the national title. She will represent Chile at the 73rd Miss World pageant. Melissa Campillay of Viña del Mar and Renata Arriagada of Valparaíso placed second and third, respectively. Completing the Top 5 were Macarena Maira of Lo Barnechea and Karol Eberl of La Reina. The new Miss World Chile is the lead vocalist of a death metal band Decessus and is an advocate for animal rights. She was crowned by her predecessor, commercial pilot Francisca Lavandero, who partcipated in Miss World 2025 last May in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. "I couldn't be more happier and grateful. Miss Universe 2025, the 74th Miss Universe competition is set to take place on Friday, November 21 at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. Reigning Miss Universe Victoria Kjær Theilvig from Denmark will hand over her crown to her successor at the conclusion of the event. This year's much-talked-about edition marked Thailand's fourth time hosting the prestigious beauty pageant after 1992, 2005, and 2018. Iceland's Helena O'Connor withdraws from Miss Universe 2025

The Miss Iceland Organization has announced today that Miss Universe Iceland 2025 Helena Hafþórsdóttir O'Connor has withdrawn from the 74th Miss Universe pageant. In an official statement released on social media, the organization said that the 21-year-old psychology student from Viðey has been ill for the past few days. The statement also stated: "She is thankfully recovering but we are devastated to announce that, due to personal reasons, she has made the difficult decision of withdrawing from the Miss Universe competition in Thailand." Helena was crowned Ungfrú Ísland 2025 (Miss Iceland 2025) in Reykjavik last April. Natálie Puškinová was crowned Miss Earth 2025 during the 25th and silver anniversary edition of the Miss Earth pageant on Wednesday, November 5 at Okada Manila in the Philippines. The 21-year-old model and student representing the Czech Republic bested over 70 other contestants to win the international beauty title. Qhawekazi Mazaleni was crowned Miss South Africa 2025 on Saturday, October 25 in glittering event held at the SunBet Arena in Pretoria. The 24-year-old beauty from Gonubie, Eastern Cape edged out eight other finalists to win the coveted national title. She succeeded last year's winner Mia le Roux of Western Cape. The Miss Universe Malaysia Organization (MUMO) has officially unveiled the national costume of Miss Universe Malaysia 2025 Chloe Lim for Miss Universe 2025. A press conference was held for the "A Fellowship with Miss Universe Malaysia 2025" on Thursday, October 23 at the Holiday Inn Kuala Lumpur Bangsar.
