70th Miss Universe: Contestants depart for Israel to conquer the Universe


In a few hours, over 70 beauties from across the world will arrive in Israel to compete for the coveted title of Miss Universe.

Despite the current situation with the pandemic, the contestants are filled with excitement and positive energy to represent their countries on the prestigious global stage.

Pre-arrival favorites are Paraguay, India, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Thailand, Philippines, Colombia, South Africa, Argentina, France, Spain, Mexico, Vietnam, and Chile.

The 70th Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2021) pageant will be held on Sunday, December 12 in the southern Israeli port and resort town, Eilat. It will air live on Fox, Telemundo, and different channels worldwide.

American television presenter Steve Harvey will return as host and Israeli singer Noa Kirel will be the special guest performer.

Mexico's Andrea Meza will crown her successor at the end of the event.

The Top 12 for best national costume at Miss Earth 2023 has been officially announced. Three costumes that received the most votes from each continental group make up the finalists. Online voting was conducted on Miss Earth's official Facebook page following the national costume competition held on Saturday, December 16 at the Van Thanh Flower Village in Dalat, Vietnam. Jan Carrasco was proclaimed Mister Supranational Dominican Republic 2023 on Saturday, April 22 at the Auditorio Patrick N. Hughson in Santo Domingo. The 29-year-old actor and photographer representing Santiago bested 14 other competitors to win the national competition.
