Miss Universe Philippines 2022 screening starts this February


Miss Universe Philippines organization has officially announced on social media that screening of applicants for the 2022 competition will start this February.

The announcement also confirmed the month when the pageant will take place.

"We’re brewing something phenomenal. Miss Universe Philippines 2022, this coming April," the organizers posted.

Last year's winner and Miss Universe 2021 Top 5 finalist from Cebu City, Beatrice Luigi Gomez, will crown her successor who will represent the Philippines at the 71st Miss Universe edition possibly later this year.

The exact date and venue of the final competition have yet to be announced.

Polish-American Emily Reng to represent Poland at Miss Universe 2025

Polish-American Emily Reng was officially announced by the Miss Polonia organization as Miss Universe Poland 2025 on Wednesday, October 22. The 20-year-old will now prepare to represent Poland at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this coming November. Emily is a graduate of John Hersey High School in Arlington Heights, Illinois and is currently a student at the University of South Carolina. The new Miss Universe Poland is no stranger to pageantry. Prior to competing at Miss Polonia 2024 where she finished second runner-up, she won the title of Miss Polish America 2024 in Chicago. Miss Universe 2025 competition kicks off in Bangkok, Thailand

The 74th Miss Universe pageant has officially commenced in Bangkok, Thailand, as over 120 beauties from across the world gather to vie for the most coveted crown. Clad in their arrival ensembles, the contestants were escorted to the Chatrium Hotel & Residence Riverside Bangkok, one of the official accommodations for this year's event. Following their arrivals, among the initial official activities lined up for the contestants were registrations, photoshoots, fittings, and rehearsals for the grand finale. Miss Universe Portugal 2025 is Camila Vitorino

Former Miss Queen of Portugal Camila Vitorino was crowned Miss Universe Portugal 2025 last Saturday, June 14 in the beautiful and historic city of Elvas. The 26-year-old from São Sebastião, Setúbal made history as the first married woman and mother to become Miss Universe Portugal. Laura Malaquias, Diliana Fernandes, and Ivone Carneiro were announced as the first, second, and third runners-up, respectively. Last year's winner Andreia Correia passed on her crown to her successor at the end of the event. The 25-year-old singer and image consultant from the province of Entre Rios beat 27 other contestants to win the national title. Miss Lebanon 2024 first runner-up Sarah Leena Boujaoude has recently been officially appointed as Miss Universe Lebanon 2025. The 20-year-old fashion model and a finance student at the American University of Beirut will represent Lebanon at Miss Universe 2025.
