Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Top 50 delegates officially announced


The game is officially on for Miss Universe Philippines 2022 as the Top 50 official delegates have been announced today on the pageant's official social media page.

From 50, only 30 will move on to the final competition on April 30 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Bay City, Pasay, Metro Manila. The winner will represent the Philippines at Miss Universe 2022.

Several beauties who have previously held national titles were spotted on the list including former Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas Katrina Llegado, Miss Earth Philippines Celeste Cortesi, and Miss World Philippines Michelle Dee.

Former Miss Universe Philippines third runner-up Pauline Amelinckx of Bohol also made a comeback in the national pageant.

72nd Miss World heats up with contestants' arrival in Telangana, India

Miss World 2025, the 72nd Miss World competition has officially begun in Telengana, India with the arrival of over 100 contestants vying for the highly coveted title. The beauties were checked into their official residence hotel, the Trident Hotel Hyderabad, and have been rehearsing for the opening ceremony this coming Saturday, May 10 at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium. Plus-sized beauty Sara Milliken was crowned the National American Miss Alabama 2024 during the state final held on May 27 at the Renaissance Marriot in Montgomery. The 23-year-old model and mental health advocate from Atmore, Alabama is now expected to represent her home state at the National American Miss 2024 competition later this year. "This is a dream that has been 8 years in the making for me," said the new National American Miss Alabama who first joined the state pageant when she was 15 years old. Miss Universe Philippines 2025, the sixth edition of the annual pageant has culminated last night at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. Heavy favorite Maria Ahtisa Manalo, 27, from Candelaria, Quezon Province, bagged the crown among 66 contestants following a tough competition. She will compete in Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. The Philippines last won the Miss Universe crown in 2018 with Catriona Gray when the pageant was held in Bangkok, Thailand.
