Miss World Philippines 2021 Tracy Maureen Perez heads back to Puerto Rico for 70th Miss World


Miss World Philippines 2021 Tracy Maureen Perez has for the second time departed for Puerto Rico to represent her country at the 70th Miss World final.

Wearing a custom white crop blazer and skirt with pearl embellishments by Filipino fashion designer Marc Soliven Ngan during her departure, the 28-year-old Industrial Engineer from Cebu is more than ready to conquer her country's second Miss World crown next week.

In a post on social media, Tracy shared: Here we go, Philippines. For the second time around, I’m leaving for Puerto Rico, carrying with me our country’s hopes and dreams. Please continue to pray with me, I know that all our hard work will soon pay off and our hearts will shine through."

"Mahal kong Pilipinas, lalaban tayo at ipapakita natin sa buong mundo ang puso at galing ng Pilipino (My dear Philippines, we will fight and we will show the world the heart and talent of the Filipino)," she added.

Tracy has won two Miss World fast track events: Head to Head Challenge, and the Beauty with a Purpose for her project “Para Kay Nanay: A Single Mother’s Journey to Love” which was inspired by her personal story of being brought up by a single mother.

Eight years since the Philippines has won its first Miss World crown in 2013 with Megan Young, the Filipinos are very hopeful that the Cebuana beauty has what it takes to bring the second blue crown back home.

The Miss World 2021 final competition, which was canceled last December due to COVID-19 concerns, will finally be held on Wednesday, March 16 at the Coca-Cola Music Hall in San Juan.

Asia Rose Simpson from Quezon City was crowned Miss World Philippines 2026 during the national final of the pageant held on Tuesday, February 3 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. The 18-year-old Filipino-American beauty also bagged the Best in Swimsuit, Best in Talent, and Beauty with a Purpose award. She succeeded Miss World 2025 Top 8 finalist and Miss World Asia Krishnah Gravidez from Baguio City. Miss Universe Germany 2022 is Soraya Kohlmann

Soraya Kohlmann was crowned Miss Universe Germany 2022 in a casting event held on Saturday, July 2 at Holiday Inn Hotel Düsseldorf-Neuss. The 24-year-old former Miss Germany (2017) and business owner who hails from Leipzig succeeds last year's titleholder Hannah Seifer. She will now prepare to represent her country at Miss Universe 2022. The glittering Miss Turkey 2025 national competition was held last December 19 at the Lazzoni Hotel in Istanbul. A total of 20 stunning finalists were chosen to compete for the national titles that were at stake — Miss Turkey World and Miss Turkey Supranational. Russia's Varvara Yakovenko wins Miss Intercontinental 2025

Varvara Yakovenko beat over 50 other contestants to win Miss Intercontinental 2025 on Thursday, January 29 at V Hotel Sahl Hasheesh in Egypt. The 18-year-old model became the fourth woman from Russia to hold the international beauty title. She succeeds last year's winner María Cepero from Puerto Rico. Lorena Suárez Lara from Cuba was named first runner-up while Vanessa Natcha Wenk of Thailand and Faidha Kassim Kivuyo of Tanzania were the second and third runners-up, respectively.
