Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 unveils new crown 'Vinawoman - Infinity by IJC'


A new crown "Vinawoman - Infinity by IJC" was unveiled for Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 at Sofitel Saigon Plaza Hotel on Monday, June 20.

The crown signifies the intellectual strength, dignity as well as bravery, in daring to face the challenges of a Vietnamese woman before the new era.

IJC jewelers spent more than 2,000 hours working with more than 20 artisans to craft the masterpiece from high-quality white gold, studded with 3 yellow sapphires at the center, 279 sapphires, and 2,137 diamonds of different sizes completely covering the crown frame.

Tiaras named "Sunshine by IJC" made with 3 citrine ovals connected with 51 citrine plates and 1,130 white gems of different sizes, and Hera by IJC" with 3 citrine ovals connected with 28 citrine plates and 539 white gemstones of different sizes, were also crafted for the first and second runners-up, respectively.

Following the unveiling of the new crowns, the 41 official contestants were showcased in their swimsuits and evening gowns during the glittering preliminary competition held on Tuesday, June 21 at Saigon Exhibition and Fair Center. They will now prepare for the highly anticipated big final event on Saturday, June 25.

Reigning Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu is expected to arrive in Vietnam to attend the event together with the Miss Universe Organization delegations on Wednesday, June 22. They will be joined by former Miss Universe Catriona Gray who will arrive the next day, Thursday, June 23.

Miss Universe Malta 2025 is Julia Ann Cluett

Julia Ann Cluett, representing Floriana, was crowned Miss Universe Malta 2025 on Thursday, July 3 at Hilton Malta in St Julian's. She edged out 16 other contestants to win the national title. The 27-year-old HR and office coordinator will now prepare to represent Malta at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. She succeeds last year's winner Beatrice Njoya. Katya Friggieri of Santa Lucija was named first runner-up while Christine Camilleri of Mosta, Karly May Naudi of Sliema, and Angelica Camilleri of St Julian's were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Miss Universe Netherlands 2025 is Nathalie Yasmin Mogbelzada

Nathalie Yasmin Mogbelzada, representing Noord-Holland, was proclaimed the winner of Miss Universe Netherlands 2025 on Saturday, July 5 at Studio 21 in Hilversum. The 28-year-old beauty from Amsterdam was crowned by her predecessor  Faith Landman and will now prepare to represent the Netherlands at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Jaelin Amaris Ramadhin of Zuid-Holland was named first runner-up while Milenka Janssen of Midden-Holland, Shashinduska Nazir of Dutch Caribbean, and anne Koerhuis of Overijssel were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. The 21-year-old beauty succeeds last year's winner Halima Hoy and will now prepare to represent Belize at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Pastry chef and model Swann Lavigne from France was proclaimed Mister Supranational 2025 on Saturday, June 28 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. The 25-year-old bested 37 other contestants to win the international male pageant. He succeeds last year's winner Fezile Mkhize from South Africa. Oliwia Mikulska was crowned Miss Polski 2025 in a glittering national competition held on Sunday, June 29 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Małopolska. The 23-year-old beauty, representing the region on Hambol, edged out 29 other contestants to win the coveted national title. Michaela Tomanová was crowned Miss Universe Czech Republic 2025 (Miss Universe Czechia) on Wednesday, June 25 at Chateau de Frontiere in Hlohovec. The 27-year-old mother, model and scientist from Prague will represent the Czech Republic at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. Brazil's Eduarda Braum crowned Miss Supranational 2025

Miss Supranational 2025, the 16th edition of the Miss Supranational pageant, was held on Friday, June 27 at Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. Eduarda Braum, a 25-year-old presenter, model and influencer from Brazil, bested 65 other contestants to win the international competition. She became the first Brazilian woman to become Miss Supranational. Anna Valencia Lakrini of Germany was named first runner-up while Quishantely Leito of Curacao, Tarah Valencia of the Philippines and Valerie Klepadlo of Puerto Rico were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.
