Reigning Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu to visit Vietnam for Miss Universe Vietnam 2022


Apart from former Miss Universe Catriona Gray, Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu has also been invited to visit Vietnam for the upcoming Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 pageant.

The Indian beauty queen will be joined by the Miss Universe Organization President Paula Shugart and newly appointed CEO Amy Emmerich.

According to the national pageant organizers, Harnaaz will be "will be present at important events" including the final night.

The reigning Miss Universe has previously traveled to the Philippines and Indonesia for official visits to grace their respective national competitions.

Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 will take place next Saturday, June 25 at the Saigon Exhibition and Fair Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City.

Miss Venezuela 2024, the 71st Miss Venezuela pageant, was held on Thursday, December 5 at Espacio Caracas. Stephany Abasali, a 24-year-old economics student representing Anzoátegui, bested 22 other contestants to be crowned Miss Universe Venezuela 2024. Karín Aridi of Amazonas was named first runner-up while Vanessa Pérez of Distrito Capital, Sarilé González of Miranda, and Vanessa Peroza of Nueva Esparta were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Valeria Cannavo, the representative of Dependencias Federales, was crowned Miss Venezuela World 2024 on Saturday, November 23 in Caracas. Miss America 2024 will be the 96th edition of the Miss America pageant — the nation's leading provider of scholarships for young women. The 51 state representatives have already been crowned and they will compete for the national title on January 14 at the Walt Disney Theater (Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts) in Orlando, Florida.
