Nigerian Queen 2022 is Damilola Bolarinde from Lagos


Nigerian Queen 2022, the 14th Nigerian Queen pageant took place on Saturday, August 20 at the EUI Centre in Port Harcourt.

Damilola Bolarinde, 26, from Lagos, walked away with the title. She succeeds last year's winner Abimbola Abayomi and will represent her country at Miss Grand International 2022 this October in Indonesia.

The first runner-up was Nnena Odum (expected to participate in the next Miss Eco International) and the second runner-up was Mavis Aruma.

A total of 40 contestants took part in the event which was hosted by Ebuka. The glittering show also featured live performances from August Chuk, Africa's premium band Alternate Sound, and CC Johnson with the 25-man symphony orchestra.

"I am truly grateful that you find me worthy to take up this responsibility and represent the organization. I will do my very best to be the best ambassador," the new Nigerian Queen wrote in a statement on social media.

Miss Universe Venezuela 2025 is Clara Vegas of Miranda

Clara Vegas triumphed over 21 other contestants to win the title of Miss Universe Venezuela 2025 on Thursday, December 4 in Caracas. The 23-year-old model and actress from Miranda will represent Venezuela at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant to be held in Puerto Rico. Maria Evangelista Alayon of Amazonas was named first runner-up while Milena Paola Soto of Mérida, Gabriela de la Cruz of Yaracuy, and Gabriela Villegas of Monagas were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. 70th Miss Universe contestants tour Jerusalem old city in Israel

Despite imposing travel restrictions due to the Omicron coronavirus variant, Israel's hosting of the 70th Miss Universe pageant is pushing through. The contestants were taken to a tour of Jerusalem's old city on Tuesday, November 30 in their sneakers, pantsuits, and cocktail dresses. They visited some notable landmarks in the city such as the Tower of David Museum and Jerusalem Botanical Gardens. Their final itinerary of the day was a tea party at King David Hotel where they met with important persons such as Mayor Moshe Lion, local female politicians, and heads of organizations that fight poverty and violence against women. Over 70 beauties are expected to continue their journey to the Miss Universe crown in Eilat next week where they will go through a series of pre-pageant activities and preliminary competitions prior to the final on December 12. Hinaupoko Devèze from Tahiti was crowned Miss France 2026 on Saturday, December 6 at the Zénith d'Amiens in Amiens, Hauts-de-France. The 23-year-old model bested 29 other contestants to win the prestigious national pageant. She succeeds Angélique Angarni-Filopon from Martinique. Juliette Collet of Nouvelle-Calédonie was named first runner-up while Victoire Dupuis of Normandie, Naomi Torrent of Guadeloupe, and Déborah Adelin-Chabal of Roussillon placed second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.
