Nigerian Queen 2022 is Damilola Bolarinde from Lagos


Nigerian Queen 2022, the 14th Nigerian Queen pageant took place on Saturday, August 20 at the EUI Centre in Port Harcourt.

Damilola Bolarinde, 26, from Lagos, walked away with the title. She succeeds last year's winner Abimbola Abayomi and will represent her country at Miss Grand International 2022 this October in Indonesia.

The first runner-up was Nnena Odum (expected to participate in the next Miss Eco International) and the second runner-up was Mavis Aruma.

A total of 40 contestants took part in the event which was hosted by Ebuka. The glittering show also featured live performances from August Chuk, Africa's premium band Alternate Sound, and CC Johnson with the 25-man symphony orchestra.

"I am truly grateful that you find me worthy to take up this responsibility and represent the organization. I will do my very best to be the best ambassador," the new Nigerian Queen wrote in a statement on social media.
