Miss Universe Colombia 2023: Meet the contestants


Following a short wait after the official castings that took place in Bogota and Medellín in August, the Miss Universe Colombia Organization has finally begun introducing the contestants for its 2023 competition.

Hosted by Carlos Claro, the first group of contestants vying for Miss Universe Colombia 2023 have been officially revealed on Monday, September 26 via Entretenimiento RCN (RCN Entertainment) news.

Meet the first 5 contestants:

Miss Universe Amazonas - María Paula Torres, 24, a medical surgeon

Miss Universe Antioquia - Luisa Fernanda Urrea, 20, an international business student

Miss Universe Atlántico - Sophia Isabel Koepke, 23, graduated cum laude with a degree in biology from the University of Florida

Miss Universe Bogotá - Daniela Aristizábal Salazar, 25, a model and architect

Miss Universe Bolívar - Daniella González Reyes, 26, a professional model

The second group of contestants was announced on Tuesday, September 27:

Miss Universe Boyacá - Laura Valentina Parra Giraldo, 22, a professional musician, violinist

Miss Universe Bucaramanga - Maria Alejandra Castillo Schoonewolff, 26, a social communicator, journalist, and a polyglot

Miss Universe Buenaventura - Lina María Hurtado Mosquera, 24, a social communicator, model and artist

Miss Universe Caldas - Valeria Gallego Salazar, 24, an aspiring businesswoman working in a foundation for homeless people

Miss Universe Cali - Wendy Michelle Murillo, 25, a journalist, host, and dancer

Meet the third group of contestants that were announced on Wednesday, September 28:

Miss Universe Casanare - Maria Camila Avella Montañez, 27, a social communicator, journalist, host and model

Miss Universe Cauca - Lizeth Mayesty Sinisterra Ramirez, 24, a lawyer

Miss Universe Cesar - Maria Juliana Pardo Mejia, 25, an international business manager and model

Miss Universe Cundinamarca - Sherren Londoño Perea, 21, a journalism student

Miss Universe Guainia - Luisa Maria Lozano, 27, a lawyer

The fourth group of contestants was announced on Thursday, September 29:

Miss Universe La Guajira - Mayderlyng Stephanie Carruyo Rojas, 24, is a tourism graduate specializing in hotel services

Miss Universe Medellín - Valeria Giraldo Toro, 23, a lawyer specializing in administrative law and holds a diploma in human rights

Miss Universe Nariño - Rouse Valentina Cortés Betancourt, 24, a business administration student and model

Miss Universe Norte de Santander - Adriana Numa Vega, 24, a lawyer and model

Miss Universe Putumayo - Darling Maryuri Valencia Cortés, 24, a model and auxiliary nurse

Meet the final group of contestants announced on Friday, September 30:

Miss Universe Quindío - Jazmín Eliana Arenas Usma, 26, a veterinarian

Miss Universe Risaralda - Valentina Valderrama Patiño, 26, a social communicator and actress

Miss Universe Santander - Nina María Pinzón Zambrano, 26, a social communicator

Miss Universe Soledad - Marleidys Morales Pérez, 26, a model

Miss Universe Tolima - Dany Sierra Pastrana, 24, a lawyer

Miss Universe Valle - Valentina Cardona Rincón, 23, a business management student and model
