Miss Earth Laos 2022 is Tato Jitana Khidaphone


Appointed Miss Earth Laos 2022 Tato Jitana Khidaphone was officially crowned in a special ceremony held on Wednesday, October 12 at the Laotel Hotel & Resort in Vientiane.

The 23-year-old model and environmental science graduate currently pursuing her master's degree at the National University of Laos will travel to the Philippines for Miss Earth 2022 final this November.

Tato is the second woman to represent Laos in the environmental advocacy-driven international pageant which is based in the Philippines. She succeeds her country's debut representative last year, Roungfa Lattanasamay.

From 60 beauties who participated during the casting day, only 16 will now move on as finalists for Miss Universe Netherlands 2024. The selection event and official announcement of the Top 16 finalists took place on Saturday, April 13 at Studio 21 in Hilversum. Previously held by Monica van Ee of the Miss Nederland organization, the license for Miss Universe Netherlands has been taken over this year by Milou Verhoeks of the Miss Beauty of the Netherlands. Elizabeth Laker was crowned Miss RNB EspaƱa 2024 (Miss Supranational Spain 2024) on Saturday, April 13 at Teatre Auditori de Salou (TAS). The 25-year-old personal trainer and makeup artist from Arona, Tenerife succeeds last year's winner Lola Wilson. Martina SuĆ”rez of Valencia and Ainara MartĆ­nez of La Rioja were the first and second runners-up, respectively.
