Miss Earth Panama 2022 is Valerie Clairisse Solís Valderrama


Valerie Clairisse Solís Valderrama has been officially announced as Miss Earth Panama 2022 on Wednesday, October 5 at Envy Club Panama in Panama City.

The 18-year-old model, gymnast and ambassador of Panama Academica will represent her country at the Miss Earth 2022 pageant in the Philippines this November.

No stranger to pageantry, Valeria held the titles Miss Teenager Panama and Miss Teenager Universe 2020.

Last year's Miss Earth Panama, Jillyan Chue relinquished her crown during the special coronation ceremony held by Panameña Universal Organization.

Panama has yet to win the Miss Earth title. Its highest placement was in 2006 with Stefanie de Roux Martin who finished in the Top 8.

Cuba's Juan Carlos Ariosa wins 8th Mister Global competition

Mister Global Cuba Juan Carlos Ariosa beat 38 other competitors to win Mister Global 2022 held on Saturday, February 11 at the Royal Park Rajapruek in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The 28-year-old actor, model, and dental surgeon originally from Matanzas, Cuba succeeded Danh Chieu Linh of Vietnam for the coveted international title. He also bagged the Mister Photogenic award. Oscar Guerrero of Colombia and William Gama of Brazil were named the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Kim Hee Won of Korea and Setthapan Thongsuk of Thailand rounded out the Top 5 finalists. Miss Maine USA 2025 is Shelby Howell from Bangor

Shelby Howell, representing Bangor, was crowned Miss Maine USA 2025 during the state final held on Sunday, May 11 in Portland. The 24-year-old real estate agent succeeds last year's winner Anne Baldridge and will now proceed to represent Maine at Miss USA 2025. Mara Carpenter of Cumberland County was named first runner-up while Jordon Hudson of Hancock, Reykha Lindor of Old Town, and Hannah Trottier-Braun of Lewiston were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Jennifer Barreto of San Sebastián triumphed over 30 other contestants to win Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2026 on Thursday, June 25 in Caguas. The 27-year-old psychologist will represent Puerto Rico at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant to be held in the Caribbean island this November. Génesis Dávila of Arroyo was named first runner-up while Vivianie Díaz-Arroyo of Aguas Buenas, Nicole Marie Colón of Aibonito, and Chelsey García of Añasco were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Melissa Bottema was proclaimed the winner of Miss Netherlands 2026 (Miss Universe Netherlands) on Saturday, June 27 at Studio 21 in Hilversum. The 25-year-old social worker, gymnastics coach and model from Groningen was crowned by her predecessor Nathalie Mogbelzada who made the Top 30 at Miss Universe 2025 last November in Bangkok, Thailand. Rina Andrea Delos Santos of Ballesteros, Cagayan was crowned Miss Philippines Earth 2026 on Saturday, June 27 at the Cultural Center of Malitbog, Bukidnon. The 27-year-old medical technology graduate edged out over 30 other contestants to win the national pageant. She will represent the Philippines at Miss Earth 2026 later this year.
