71st Miss Universe R'Bonney Gabriel visits Indonesia for commercial shoot


R'Bonney Gabriel touched down in Lombok, Indonesia to shoot a commercial for YOU•C1000 Vitamin earlier this week.

The reigning Miss Universe stunned in a Lombok's traditional clothing while shooting for the Indonesian vitamin C health beverage.

Lombok is an island known for beaches and surfing spots in West Nusa Tenggara province, Indonesia.

This was R'Bonney's first official visit to Indonesia and first travel abroad since she bagged the 71st Miss Universe crown last month in New Orleans.

"This is actually my fourth time in Indonesia and I love visiting every time," she shared and added that she previously visited Ubud, Canggu, Mount Rinjani, and Bukittinggi.

R'Bonney will continue her official Asian tour to Thailand as she is expected to arrive at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok this Saturday afternoon.

She will be joined by Miss Universe 2022 second runner-up Andreína Martínez Founier of the Dominican Republic and Top 5 finalist Gabriëla Dos Santos of Curacao.

Miss Nepal 2023: Meet the winners of Miss Nepal World, Earth and International titles

The Dabur Vatika Miss Nepal 2023 final competition was held on Saturday, May 27 at the Godawari Convention Hall in Lalitpur. Contestant number 17   Srichchha Pradhan, a Bennington College graduate with a degree in environmental studies, was proclaimed Miss Nepal World 2023. Raina Majgaiya, a commercial pilot, clinched the title Miss Nepal Earth 2023 while Prasiddhy Shah, also an environmental studies graduate, was named Miss Nepal International 2023. They are expected to represent Nepal at Miss World 2024, Miss Earth 2023 (Vietnam), and Miss International 2023 (Japan), respectively. A total of 24 contestants from around the country were selected to take part in the 27th edition of the Miss Nepal pageant. Last year's titleholders Priyanka Rani Joshi, Sareesha Shrestha, and Nancy Khadka crowned their respective successors at the end of the event. Miss Rhode Island USA 2023 is Mary Malloy

Cumberland's Mary Malloy was crowned Miss Rhode Island USA 2023 on Sunday, May 28 at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium (The VETS) in Providence. The first runner-up was Katie Bergantine while Jesaura Peralta, Briana Vega, and Kaitlynne Santana were announced as the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. No stranger to pageantry, the new Miss Rhode Island USA is a former Miss Rhode Island Teen USA titleholder. She also participated twice at Miss California USA where she placed first runner-up in 2021 and Top 16 semifinalist in 2022. Mary will now prepare for the Miss USA 2023 pageant to be held in Reno, Nevada later this year and hopefully conquer the second national title for the state after former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo in 2012. Kim Rossen bested six other competitors to win Miss Universe Curacao 2023 on Saturday, May 27 at the World Trade Center (WTC) in Willemstad. The 25-year-old model, athlete, and occupational therapist living in Rotterdam, Netherlands will now prepare to represent Curacao at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador later this year. No stranger to pageantry, the University of Rotterdam graduate was first runner-up when she participated in Miss Curacao Holland 2023 last December. This year's Miss Universe Curacao final competition was hosted by Venezuelan television presenter Maite Delgado. Candace Kanavel was crowned Miss Arizona USA 2023 on Monday, May 29 at the Higley Center for the Performing Arts in Gilbert, Arizona. The 27-year-old Arizona State University alumna and police officer from Tempe will now represent her home state at Miss USA 2023 in Reno, Nevada this fall. Thaweeporn "Aoom"  Phingchamrat was crowned Miss Grand Thailand 2023 in a glittering final competition held on Saturday, April 29 at MGI Hall, Show DC Megacomplex in Bangkok. The 27-year-old model from the southern province of Chumphon bested 76 other contestants to win the national title. She succeeded last year's winner and Miss Grand International 2022 first runner-up Engfa Waraha. Miss Universe 2022 R'Bonney Gabriel visits Guatemala with reigning Miss USA and Miss Teen USA

Reigning Miss Universe R'Bonney Gabriel touched down in Guatemala City this week with her queen sisters Miss USA 2022 Morgan Romano and Miss Teen USA 2022 Faron Medhi. The trio went to the Central American country for Smile Train, the world's largest cleft charity providing safe, high-quality cleft palate surgical care in over 70 countries. "Had the sweetest time dying shirts and spending time with children that have undergone cleft surgeries with @smiletrain," R'Bonney shared on social media. The beauty queen also reunited with her fellow competitor at Miss Universe 2022 in New Orleans, Miss Universe Guatemala 2022 Ivana Batchelor. Talking about their experience in the country, reigning Miss Teen USA shared, "I had such a beautiful first day in Guatemala with @smiletrain." Zimbabwe will return to Miss Universe pageant after 22 years

After a 22-year absence, Zimbabwe, a landlocked country in southern Africa, is expected to return to the Miss Universe pageant in El Salvador later this year. Previously held by the first ever Miss Universe Zimbabwe, Yvette D'Almeida Chakras, the Miss Universe license is now in the hands of Tendai Hunda, a former Miss World Zimbabwe and Miss Intercontinental 2015 fourth runner-up. Joining her as chief of operations and managing director is Zimbabwean television personality and communications consultant, Rumbidzai Takawira. Zimbabwe last joined Miss Universe in the year 2001 with Tsungai Muswerakuenda. Its highest placement was achieved in 2000 when Corinne Crewe finished in the Top 10 from a field of 79 competitors in Nicosia, Cyprus. Miss Earth New Zealand 2023 is Caitlyn Dulcie from Auckland

Caitlyn Dulcie was crowned Miss Earth New Zealand 2023 on Saturday, May 27 at Te Pou Theatre in Henderson, Auckland. The 23-year-old model, dancer, and musician also bagged the Best In Judge’s Interview and Best in Talent special awards.  Her court of elemental queens consists of Mercedes Budd, Lelaine Dela Cruz, Alyssa Roberts, and Moya van Kooten. They were named Miss Earth Air, Water, Fire, and Land, respectively. Simran Madan, last year's winner who went on to compete in the Philippines last November, passed the crown to her successor at the end of the event. Caitlyn will now prepare to represent her island country at Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam later this year.
