Karla Guilfú Acevedo joins Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2023


The search for Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2023 has begun and one notable aspirant who went to audition is former Miss Supranational Puerto Rico Karla Inelisse Guilfú Acevedo.

From Supranational to Universe, Karla hopes to represent Puerto Rico at Miss Universe 2023, and with the strong track record she holds in pageantry, she could be the one.

The 24-year-old hails from Culebra and holds a bachelor's degree in psychology. She was named Puerto Rico's representative for Miss Supranational during Nuestra Belleza Puerto Rico 2020 and went on to bag first runner-up at Miss Supranational 2021 in Poland.

Prior to her success on the global stage, she also held the title Miss Teen Mundial Puerto Rico 2018 and finished in the Top 12 at the international Miss Teen Mundial pageant held in El Salvador.

In May last year, she stood alongside Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu, and Miss International 2019 Sireethorn Leearamwat during a visit to Indonesia for the 25th Puteri Indonesia pageant.

Will this model and founder of Comencemos a Sanar, a social initiative that was aimed at educating about mental health and holistic well-being, be the next Miss Universe Puerto Rico?

Miss Nepal 2023: Meet the winners of Miss Nepal World, Earth and International titles

The Dabur Vatika Miss Nepal 2023 final competition was held on Saturday, May 27 at the Godawari Convention Hall in Lalitpur. Contestant number 17   Srichchha Pradhan, a Bennington College graduate with a degree in environmental studies, was proclaimed Miss Nepal World 2023. Raina Majgaiya, a commercial pilot, clinched the title Miss Nepal Earth 2023 while Prasiddhy Shah, also an environmental studies graduate, was named Miss Nepal International 2023. They are expected to represent Nepal at Miss World 2024, Miss Earth 2023 (Vietnam), and Miss International 2023 (Japan), respectively. A total of 24 contestants from around the country were selected to take part in the 27th edition of the Miss Nepal pageant. Last year's titleholders Priyanka Rani Joshi, Sareesha Shrestha, and Nancy Khadka crowned their respective successors at the end of the event. Miss Universe Albania 2023 is Endi Demneri from Tirana

Endi Demneri was crowned Miss Universe Albania 2023 in a national competition held on Thursday, June 1 at Pallati i Kongreseve (Palace of Congresses) in Tirana. The 24-year-old model from Tirana succeeds Deta Kokomani and will now prepare to represent Albania at the 72nd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2023) pageant in El Salvador later this year. Alexis Fagan-Williams, representing Motown, was crowned Miss Michigan USA 2023 on Saturday, June 3 at the McMorran Place Sports & Entertainment Center in Port Huron. The 22-year-old psychology graduate from Detroit succeeds Aria Hutchinson and will now prepare to represent Michigan at Miss USA 2023 in Reno, Nevada. Candace Kanavel was crowned Miss Arizona USA 2023 on Monday, May 29 at the Higley Center for the Performing Arts in Gilbert, Arizona. The 27-year-old Arizona State University alumna and police officer from Tempe will now represent her home state at Miss USA 2023 in Reno, Nevada this fall. Miss Pakistan World 2023 is Misbah Arshad

Misbah Arshad was proclaimed Miss Pakistan World 2023 in a crowning ceremony held on Wednesday, May 31 at the Grand Palm Hotel in Lahore. The 25-year-old Pakistani beauty lives in Munich, Germany with her family and is pursuing her bachelor's degree in psychology at the University of Hagen. Cumberland's Mary Malloy was crowned Miss Rhode Island USA 2023 on Sunday, May 28 at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium (The VETS) in Providence. The first runner-up was Katie Bergantine while Jesaura Peralta, Briana Vega, and Kaitlynne Santana were announced as the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.
