Karla Guilfú Acevedo joins Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2023


The search for Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2023 has begun and one notable aspirant who went to audition is former Miss Supranational Puerto Rico Karla Inelisse Guilfú Acevedo.

From Supranational to Universe, Karla hopes to represent Puerto Rico at Miss Universe 2023, and with the strong track record she holds in pageantry, she could be the one.

The 24-year-old hails from Patillas and holds a bachelor's degree in psychology. She was named Puerto Rico's representative for Miss Supranational during Nuestra Belleza Puerto Rico 2020 and went on to bag first runner-up at Miss Supranational 2021 in Poland.

Prior to her success on the global stage, she also held the title Miss Teen Mundial Puerto Rico 2018 and finished in the Top 12 at the international Miss Teen Mundial pageant held in El Salvador.

In May last year, she stood alongside Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu, and Miss International 2019 Sireethorn Leearamwat during a visit to Indonesia for the 25th Puteri Indonesia pageant.

Will this model and founder of Comencemos a Sanar, a social initiative that was aimed at educating about mental health and holistic well-being, be the next Miss Universe Puerto Rico?

Miss USA 2025: Meet the contestants

Miss USA 2025, the much-awaited 74th Miss USA pageant will be held on Friday, October 24 at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada. This year's competition marks the fourth occasion it will take place in Reno after 2019, 2022, and 2023. Also, this will be the first edition under the leadership of the new Chairman, President, and CEO, Thom Brodeur. Miss Asia Pacific International 2025 is Isabela Fernandez from Brazil

Isabela Fernandez was proclaimed Miss Asia Pacific International 2025 on Wednesday, October 8 at the Cebu Coliseum in Cebu City, Philippines. The 28-year-old model from Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais beat over 40 other contestants to win the international beauty title. She became the second Brazilian woman to win Miss Asia Pacific International next to Francielly Ouriques (2017). Roziel Borges was officially crowned Miss Venezuela Earth 2025 in a special ceremony that took place on Globovisión's "La Tizana" show on Tuesday, October 7. The 24-year-old language student, model and community manager born in Maracay, Aragua received the crown from her predecessor Karleys Rojas. No stranger to pageantry, the new Miss Venezuela Earth has previously won two international beauty titles — Miss Tourism Planet 2023 in Greece and Beauty of the World 2024 in China. Aadya Srivastava from Headford, County Galway was crowned Miss Universe Ireland 2025 on Saturday, October 4 at Hilton Dublin Airport Hotel.
