Miss New Mexico USA 2023 is Bianca Wright


Bianca Wright, representing Anthony, was crowned Miss New Mexico USA 2023 on Sunday, June 4 at the New Mexico State University (NMSU) Center for the Arts in Las Cruces.

The 28-year-old environmental scientist and founder of a community organization Harvesting Help for Humanity will now prepare to represent New Mexico at Miss USA 2023 in Reno, Nevada this fall.

She succeeds last year's winner and Miss USA 2022 Top 12 finalist Suzanne Perez. 

Her court of runners-up were Chariona Bridges, Elizabeth Medina, Alondra Ruiz, Francesca Covino, and Priscilla Trujillo.

For the teens' division, Hobbs' Asia Rose Simpson succeeds Caroline Babcock as she won the title of Miss New Mexico Teen USA 2023. The 15-year-old will go on to compete in Miss Teen USA 2023.

Asia's runners-up were Jade Vargas, Carolina Ockerman, Analyssa Jaimes, Hailee Gallegos, and Mya Sanchez.

The last time New Mexico won the Miss USA title was in 1984 with Mai Therese Shanley who went on to place in the Top 10 at the 33rd Miss Universe pageant in Miami, Florida.

There is no Miss Teen USA winner yet from the state but six teen representatives were able to place in the national pageant and the last time was in 2012 with Jacqueline Cai's Top 16 finish.

Alejandra Rodríguez, 60, crowned Miss Universe Buenos Aires 2024

Alejandra Rodríguez was crowned Miss Universe Buenos Aires 2024 in a competition held on Sunday, April 21 at Corregidor Hotel in La Plata. The 60-year-old lawyer and journalist bested more than 30 other contestants to win the title. She will now prepare to represent Buenos Aires at Miss Universe Argentina 2024. To recall, the Miss Universe Organization removed the age limit requirement last year so now anyone from the age of 18 can join the pageant and this applies to all its national franchises. Miss Universe Bahamas 2024 is Selvinique Wright

Miss Andros, Selvinique Wright was crowned Miss Universe Bahamas 2024 on Sunday, May 12 at Atlantis Showroom in Paradise Island. The 31-year-old founder of the "Women's Health.. Us First" foundation will now prepare to represent the Bahamas at the 73rd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2024) in Mexico this November. Her foundation, which focuses on fibroids awareness, aims to promote education, foster research, build a supportive community, and advocate for better health. Miss Philippines Earth 2024 is Irha Mel Alfeche of Matanao, Davao del Sur

Irha Mel Alfeche of Matanao, Davao del Sur was crowned Miss Philippines Earth 2024 in a glittering competition held on Saturday, May 11 in Talakag, Bukidnon. The 24-year-old special needs education graduate bested 28 other contestants to win the national title. She will now prepare to represent the Philippines at Miss Earth 2024 later this year. Miss Czech Republic 2024 is Adéla Štroffeková

The Miss Czech Republic 2024 concluded on Saturday, May 11 with Adéla Štroffeková winning the national title from a field of 10 finalists. The 21-year-old model from Prague, who was also named Miss World Czech Republic 2024, received her crown from reigning Miss World Krystyna Pyszková. Hosted by Ondrej Novotny, this year's event marked the 15th anniversary of the annual Miss Czech Republic pageant. Mister Supranational Thailand 2024 is Joe Chonlawit Wongsriwor

The Mister and Miss Supranational Thailand 2024 final competition was held on Friday, May 10 at the at Crystal Design Center (CDC) in Bangkok. Joe Chonlawit Wongsriwor, a 27-year-old professional Thai-English event host hailing from Khon Kaen, was declared Mister Supranational Thailand 2024. Thomas Tom Suppakit Oupkham and Spencer Puvarak Poemnam Munday were the first and second runners-up, respectively. Future Pattawee Waimethachoknugun, Third Boonkarit Sappradit, and Mheepooh Puttimet Naulsaard were the Top 6 and were all third runners-up. Miss Grand Spain 2024 is Susana Medina of Las Palmas

Susana Medina was crowned Miss Grand Spain 2024 in a glittering competition held on Saturday, May 11 at Theatre Municipal Horacio Noguera, Isla Cristina, Huelva. The 25-year-old representative of Las Palmas bested 34 other contestants to win the national title. She succeeds last year's winner Celia Sevilla and will now represent Spain at Miss Grand International 2024. Idayra Tena of Tenerife was named first runner-up while Adriana Corpas of Tarragona, Luana Gheban of Albacete, and Esther Escudero of Euskadi were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. The Top 10 were María Llamas of Andalusia, Rocio Mengual of Córdoba, Gema Adrover of Mediterranean, Mayka Rodríguez of Seville, and Ainhoa Gallego of Toledo.
