Miss North Dakota USA 2023 is Monni Nyaribo


Badlands' Monni Nyaribo was crowned Miss North Dakota USA 2023 on Sunday, June 11 at Watertown Event Center in Watertown, South Dakota.

The 27-year-old BBA in marketing graduate of North Dakota State University will now represent North Dakota at Miss USA 2023 in Reno, Nevada this fall.

Morgan Layton (Minot), Haley Helmin (Fargo), Chelsey Faye Morlock (Dunn County), and Lauren Cannon (Jamestown) were announced as the first, second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.

As a proud Kenyan-American, the new Miss North Dakota USA hopes to inspire young girls with the same skin color as hers. She wrote on social media: "I hope any little black girl watching knows that they are worthy of love. They are worthy to be successful."

Monni also shared her foundation and social impact initiative "Find Your Match" which was cultivated from her own life-altering experience with burnout in her 20s. It aims to eliminate hustle culture and raise awareness for burnout prevention.

Sunday's event also culminated with the coronation of another titleholder Miss North Dakota Teen USA 2023 Morgan Schwindt who represented Fargo. She will now proceed to Miss Teen USA 2023 later this year.

Morgan's runners-up were Allie Goodall (Dickinson), Olivia Redding (Burlington), Devyn Bechel (Minot), and Bella Ulrich (Grand Forks).

Last year's winners, SaNoah LaRocque and Berkley Lundeen crowned their respective successors at the end of the state competition.

Alejandra Rodríguez was crowned Miss Universe Buenos Aires 2024 in a competition held on Sunday, April 21 at Corregidor Hotel in La Plata. The 60-year-old lawyer and journalist bested more than 30 other contestants to win the title. She will now prepare to represent Buenos Aires at Miss Universe Argentina 2024. To recall, the Miss Universe Organization removed the age limit requirement last year so now anyone from the age of 18 can join the pageant and this applies to all its national franchises. Miss Universe Bahamas 2024 is Selvinique Wright

Miss Andros, Selvinique Wright was crowned Miss Universe Bahamas 2024 on Sunday, May 12 at Atlantis Showroom in Paradise Island. The 31-year-old founder of the "Women's Health.. Us First" foundation will now prepare to represent the Bahamas at the 73rd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2024) in Mexico this November. Irha Mel Alfeche of Matanao, Davao del Sur was crowned Miss Philippines Earth 2024 in a glittering competition held on Saturday, May 11 in Talakag, Bukidnon. The Miss Czech Republic 2024 concluded on Saturday, May 11 with Adéla Štroffeková winning the national title from a field of 10 finalists. The 21-year-old model from Prague, who was also named Miss World Czech Republic 2024, received her crown from reigning Miss World Krystyna Pyszková. Hosted by Ondrej Novotny, this year's event marked the 15th anniversary of the annual Miss Czech Republic pageant. Mister Supranational Thailand 2024 is Joe Chonlawit Wongsriwor

The Mister and Miss Supranational Thailand 2024 final competition was held on Friday, May 10 at the at Crystal Design Center (CDC) in Bangkok. Joe Chonlawit Wongsriwor, a 27-year-old professional Thai-English event host hailing from Khon Kaen, was declared Mister Supranational Thailand 2024. Thomas Tom Suppakit Oupkham and Spencer Puvarak Poemnam Munday were the first and second runners-up, respectively. Future Pattawee Waimethachoknugun, Third Boonkarit Sappradit, and Mheepooh Puttimet Naulsaard were the Top 6 and were all third runners-up. Miss Grand Spain 2024 is Susana Medina of Las Palmas

Susana Medina was crowned Miss Grand Spain 2024 in a glittering competition held on Saturday, May 11 at Theatre Municipal Horacio Noguera, Isla Cristina, Huelva. The 25-year-old representative of Las Palmas bested 34 other contestants to win the national title. She succeeds last year's winner Celia Sevilla and will now represent Spain at Miss Grand International 2024. Idayra Tena of Tenerife was named first runner-up while Adriana Corpas of Tarragona, Luana Gheban of Albacete, and Esther Escudero of Euskadi were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.
