Miss Universe 2023 will be held on November 18 in El Salvador


It's official, the Miss Universe Organization announced on Thursday, July 27 that Miss Universe 2023 will be held on November 18 in El Salvador.

The 72nd Miss Universe competition was first revealed to be hosted in the Central American country during the Miss Universe 2022 final in New Orleans last January.

This year's pageant will be the second edition to be hosted in El Salvador. The first time was in 1975 with Anne Marie Pohtamo of Finland emerged as the winner.

Around 90 competitors are expected to take part with Pakistan's debut and several countries expected to return such as Bangladesh, Denmark, Egypt, Guyana, Hungary, Ireland, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Mongolia, New Zealand, and Zimbabwe.

Reigning Miss Universe R'Bonney Gabriel of the USA will relinquish her crown at the culmination of the upcoming prestigious event.

Further details such as schedule of events, host hotel and final venue have yet to be disclosed by MUO. Stay tuned for more information on the official Miss Universe app.
