Miss Costa Rica 2023 is Lisbeth Valverde


Lisbeth Valverde was crowned Miss Costa Rica 2023 (Miss Universe Costa Rica 2023) on Wednesday, August 16 at Estudio Marco Picado in San José.

The 28-year-old entrepreneur hailing from San Ramón holds a degree in special education from the National University of Costa Rica. Her social project "Manos Unidas Costa Rica" advocates for education, inclusion, and the preservation of our planet.

She succeeds last year's winner María Fernanda Rodríguez Ávila and will now prepare to represent Costa Rica at the 72nd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2023) in El Salvador this November.

Natalia González and Yoselyn Porras were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Catalina Murillo and Fabiola Calvo rounded out the Top 5 finalists.

The new Miss Costa Rica is no stranger to pageantry, having won several beauty titles in the past including Miss Centroamerican 2015, Miss Intercontinental Costa Rica 2016, Miss Costa Maya Internacional 2019, and Miss Panamerican 2019.

Former Binibining Pilipinas Globe titleholder Anna Valencia Lakrini was crowned Miss Supranational Germany 2025 at the recently held Queens of Germany 2025 pageant in Berlin. The 27-year-old Filipino-German, born in Stuttgart, will now prepare to represent Germany at Miss Supranational 2025 in Poland this June. Eduarda Braum was crowned Miss Supranational Brazil 2025 on Friday, April 4 at Hotel Sibara in Balneário Camboriú, Santa Catarina. The 25-year-old model and influencer, representing Espírito Santo, will represent Brazil at Miss Supranational 2025 in Poland this June. Miss Supranational Spain 2025 is Luna Negrín of Madrid

Luna Negrín, repesenting Madrid, was crowned Miss Supranational Spain 2025 during the Miss RNB España 2025 final gala held on Saturday, April 12 at the Teatre Auditori Salou (TAS). The 21-year-old journalism student will represent Spain at Miss Supranational 2025 in Poland this June. She succeeds last year's winner Elizabeth Laker. Alexie Caimoso Brooks from the Philippines was crowned Miss Eco International 2025 on Saturday, April 19 at the Hilton Alexandria Green Plaza in Egypt. Former Miss Universe Iceland Sóldís Vala Ívarsdóttir was officially proclaimed Miss Earth Iceland 2025 during the recently held Ungfrú Ísland 2025 (Miss Iceland) pageant in Reykjavík.
