Miss Costa Rica 2023 is Lisbeth Valverde


Lisbeth Valverde was crowned Miss Costa Rica 2023 (Miss Universe Costa Rica 2023) on Wednesday, August 16 at Estudio Marco Picado in San José.

The 28-year-old entrepreneur hailing from San Ramón holds a degree in special education from the National University of Costa Rica. Her social project "Manos Unidas Costa Rica" advocates for education, inclusion, and the preservation of our planet.

She succeeds last year's winner María Fernanda Rodríguez Ávila and will now prepare to represent Costa Rica at the 72nd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2023) in El Salvador this November.

Natalia González and Yoselyn Porras were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Catalina Murillo and Fabiola Calvo rounded out the Top 5 finalists.

The new Miss Costa Rica is no stranger to pageantry, having won several beauty titles in the past including Miss Centroamerican 2015, Miss Intercontinental Costa Rica 2016, Miss Costa Maya Internacional 2019, and Miss Panamerican 2019.

Miss Universe Paraguay 2026 is Gretha Matiauda

Former Miss Earth Paraguay Gretha Matiauda has recently been appointed as her country's official representative in the Miss Universe 2026 pageant. The 24-year-old beauty from Asunción is an economist, international model and entrepreneur. She succeeds last year's titleholder Yanina Gómez who made the Top 30 at Miss Universe 2025. Hanoi's Phan Phuong Oanh is the new Miss World Vietnam

Phan Phuong Oanh was proclaimed the winner of the Miss World Vietnam 2025 pageant held on Sunday, March 29 in Ho Chi Minh City. The 23-year-old international business graduate from Hanoi bested 46 other contestants to clinch the coveted national title. Vietnam to host the 73rd Miss World competition this summer

Vietnam, the land of the "Ascending Dragon", has been revealed as the official host country of the 73rd Miss World (Miss World 2026) competition. Miss Universe 2025, the 74th Miss Universe competition is set to take place on Friday, November 21 at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. Fatima Bosch was crowned Miss Universe Mexico 2025 on Saturday, September 13 at Sala Placido Domingo (Conjunto Santander de Artes Escénicas) in Zapopan, Jalisco. The 24-year-old designer from Teapa, Tabasco triumphed over 30 other contestants to win the coveted national title. She will represent Mexico at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. The 21-year-old business administration student from Tochigi Prefecture beat over 40 other contestants to win the national title. Idil Bilgen was crowned Miss Turkey World 2024 during the Miss Turkey 2024 national final on Wednesday, September 11 at the Lazzoni Hotel in Istanbul. The 24-year-old medical doctor bested 19 other competitors to win the national title. She will prepare to represent Türkiye at the 72nd Miss World whose date and venue have yet to be announced.
