Miss Universe Chile 2023 is Celeste Viel


Celeste Viel bested 17 other competitors to be crowned Miss Universe Chile 2023 in a national competition held on Sunday, August 13 at the Radisson Blu Plaza El Bosque Santiago.

The 23-year-old public relations student, model, and health coach representing Comunidad Extranjera also bagged the Miss Pasarela award following the swimsuit competition.

Kristina Lie of Puerto Varas placed second while Magdalena Landshut of Santiago, Amaya Butron of Rancagua, and Carla Sanchez of Antofagasta were announced as third, fourth, and fifth, respectively.

The representatives of Chicureo, Catalina Pradenas, Chiloe, Natia Tirachini, Colina, Gabriela Vasquez, La Reina, Karol Eberl, Providencia, Anais Godoy, and San Bernardo, Magdalena Cid were the rest of the Top 11 finalists.

Last year's winner who was awarded Miss Congeniality at Miss Universe 2022, Sofia Depassier, crowned her successor at the end of the event which was hosted by Miss Universe Colombia 2022 María Fernanda Aristizábal.

The new Miss Universe Chile will now prepare to represent her country at the 72nd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2023) to be held in El Salvador this November.

Miss Universe Croatia 2026 is Antea Mršić from Zagreb

Antea Mršić edged out 14 other contestants to win Miss Universe Croatia 2026 on Monday, May 25 at Esplanade Hotel in Zagreb. The 24-year-old sports management graduate from Zagreb will now prepare to represent Croatia at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant in Puerto Rico this November. Monika Vojvodić was named first runner-up while Laura Vujica, Magdalena Fofić and Beata Šimat were the second, third and fourth runners-up, respectively. "I am endlessly grateful for every single person who believed in me," the new Miss Universe Croatia shared online. Miss Centre, Amira Afli, was crowned Miss Tunisia 2023 in a glittering competition held on Saturday, February 11 at Le Pavillon Gammarth in La Marsa. The 22-year-old beauty from Kairouan is a medical student at Monastir's Faculty of Medicine and an advocate of first-aid training for the youth. Mara Topic Verduga was crowned Miss Universe Ecuador 2024 on Saturday, June 8 at Parque Zoila Ugarte de Landívar in Machala, El Oro. The 71st Miss Universe contestants have been very busy with their pre-pageant events and activities ahead of the preliminary, national costume, and final competitions. Kanteera "Namphueng" Techaphattanakul was proclaimed Miss World Thailand 2026 on Sunday, May 10 at MCC Hall of The Mall Lifestore Ngamwongwan in Bangkok.
