LIVE UPDATES: Miss South Africa 2023 Final Show Results


Miss South Africa 2023, the 65th edition of the Miss South Africa pageant culminates tonight at Time Square's SunBet Arena in Pretoria.

Hosted by South African award-winning television presenter, radio personality, actress, and social media personality Bonang Matheba, tonight's show features seven finalists vying for the highly coveted national title.

Talented South African performers Siki Jo-An, Jimmy Nevis, Brenda Mtambo, and Robot Boii will be the special guest performers for the much-awaited final broadcasting live on SABC 3 and streaming via Miss South Africa app from 6:30 local time.

An esteemed panel of judges consisting of reigning Miss Universe R'Bonney Gabriel, actress, presenter, author and entrepreneur Leandie Du Randt, investigative television journalist Devi Sankaree Govender, international Emmy-nominated actress Thuso Mbedu, and former Miss South Africa Jo-Ann Strauss will have the most difficult task of choosing the deserving winner.

The next Miss South Africa will have the opportunity to represent the "rainbow nation" at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador and/or Miss Supranational 2024 in Poland.

Miss Denmark 2026 is Simone Julie Lythje from Silkeborg

The Miss Denmark 2026 pageant, celebrating its 100th anniversary, took place on Sunday, September 13, at the renowned Cirkusbygningen in Copenhagen. Simone Julie Lythje, a 21-year-old teaching assistant from Silkeborg, Jutland, has been named the new Miss Denmark. She was presented with her crown by her predecessor, Josephine Bøttger, who recently participated in Miss World 2026 held in Vietnam. Another notable winner from the event was 23-year-old Anne-Marie Olsvig Lauritzen from Ilulissat, who earned the title of Miss Greenland 2026. The competition also recognized Sofie Klivager Andersen, Helena Heiselberg Kjær, Maiken Bruun, and Susanne Saad as the first, second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Lo Colby of the USA was crowned Miss International Queen 2026 on Saturday, September 19 at the Tiffany's Show Pattaya in Pattaya, Thailand. The Hawaiian-born Thai-American transgender beauty based in Los Angeles bested 26 rival contestants to win the coveted title. She also bagged the Best in Talent award. Miss Finland 2026 is Veera Grönlund

Veera Grönlund, a 30-year-old from Helsinki, was crowned Miss Suomi 2026 (Miss Finland 2026) on Saturday, September 5, at Hybridiarena Hype in Espoo. The passionate animal advocate and aspiring veterinarian will represent Finland at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant in Puerto Rico this coming November. Joheirry Mola Dominguez from the Dominican Republic bested 110 other contestants to win Miss World 2026 on Saturday, September 5 in Nha Trang, Vietnam. The 24-year-old model, teacher, news correspondent and advocate received the coveted crown and sash from her predecessor Opal Suchata Chuangsri from Thailand. She became the second woman from the Dominican Republic to become Miss World next to Mariasela Álvarez who won in 1982.
