LIVE UPDATES: Miss South Africa 2023 Final Show Results


Miss South Africa 2023, the 65th edition of the Miss South Africa pageant culminates tonight at Time Square's SunBet Arena in Pretoria.

Hosted by South African award-winning television presenter, radio personality, actress, and social media personality Bonang Matheba, tonight's show features seven finalists vying for the highly coveted national title.

Talented South African performers Siki Jo-An, Jimmy Nevis, Brenda Mtambo, and Robot Boii will be the special guest performers for the much-awaited final broadcasting live on SABC 3 and streaming via Miss South Africa app from 6:30 local time.

An esteemed panel of judges consisting of reigning Miss Universe R'Bonney Gabriel, actress, presenter, author and entrepreneur Leandie Du Randt, investigative television journalist Devi Sankaree Govender, international Emmy-nominated actress Thuso Mbedu, and former Miss South Africa Jo-Ann Strauss will have the most difficult task of choosing the deserving winner.

The next Miss South Africa will have the opportunity to represent the "rainbow nation" at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador and/or Miss Supranational 2024 in Poland.

Former Miss World France Ophély Mézino was crowned Miss Universe Guadeloupe 2025 in a special coronation ceremony held on Saturday, July 12. The 26-year-old model succeeds last year's titleholder Coraly Desplan and will now prepare to represent Guadeloupe at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. Ornella Millitie was named first runner-up while Océane Millitie, Judith Brumant-Lachoua, and Madly Marian were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Miss Universe Guatemala 2025 recently kicked off in Guatemala City with the official presentation of the 24 contestants vying for the crown. The national final will be held this July in Quetzaltenango where the reigning Miss Universe Victoria Kjær Theilvig from Denmark is expected to visit as a special guest. Julia Ann Cluett, representing Floriana, was crowned Miss Universe Malta 2025 on Thursday, July 3 at Hilton Malta in St Julian's. She edged out 16 other contestants to win the national title. The 27-year-old HR and office coordinator will now prepare to represent Malta at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. She succeeds last year's winner Beatrice Njoya.
