Miss Universe Ukraine 2023 is Angelina Usanova


Following a series of online screenings and interviews, Angelina Usanova has been selected and officially announced on Thursday, August 17 as Miss Universe Ukraine 2023.

The 26-year-old musician, songwriter, and yoga master from Kyiv will now prepare to represent Ukraine at the 72nd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2023) to be held in El Salvador this November.

She succeeds last year's titleholder, Viktoria Apanasenko, who was awarded Best in National Costume for her awe-inspiring "Warrior of Light" costume during the 71st Miss Universe pageant in New Orleans last January.

Due to the ongoing armed conflict situation in Ukraine, the Miss Ukraine Universe committee decided not to hold a physical competition and resorted to an online search for the country's next representative on the prestigious international stage.

According to the national organization, the new Miss Universe Ukraine has been actively involved in humanitarian work since the beginning of a "full-scale invasion" of Ukraine.

"Angelina has held charity concerts to raise funds for humanitarian aid, organized housing for Ukrainian refugees in Europe, provided moral support to war victims with the help of yoga, meditation, and sound healing, collected and transferred funds for the purchase of cars to the front for of the 'Quick Evacuation' project."

An official crowning ceremony is expected to take place in Kyiv later this month. She is currently in the United States to prepare for the upcoming Miss Universe pageant.

Miss Anambra, Basil Onyinyechi, was crowned Miss Universe Nigeria 2025 on Saturday, August 30 at Balmoral Convention Center in Victoria Island, Lagos. She bested 21 other contestants to win her national title and will now prepare to represent Nigeria at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. Meet the winners of Miss Nepal 2025

The Miss Nepal 2025 pageant was held on Saturday, August 30 at the  Godavari Sunrise Convention Center in Lalitpur. In addition to Miss Nepal World, Miss Nepal International, and Miss Nepal Earth, the 26 contestants also competed for the new title of Miss Nepal Cosmo. Choi Soon-hwa recently created a buzz in the pageant community when she appeared as the oldest contestant vying for Miss Universe Korea 2024. The 81-year-old senior model who walked her first runway in her 70s made history as she competes alongside more than 30 others in the upcoming national competition. If she wins this year's Miss Universe Korea, she will be the oldest Korean representative and contestant in the 73-year history of the Miss Universe pageant. Miss Grand Venezuela 2025 is Nariman Battikha of Monagas

Nariman Battikha, representing Monagas, beat over 30 other contestants to win Miss Grand Venezuela 2025 on Saturday, August 30 at Wynwood Park, Valencia. The 30-year-old coach, speaker and entrepreneur will represent Venezuela at Miss Grand International 2025 in Thailand this October. She succeeds last year's titleholder Anna Blanco. No stranger to pageantry, Nary represented the state of Portuguesa at Miss Venezuela 2017 and finished in the Top 10. Veena Praveenar Singh bested 76 other contestants to win Miss Universe Thailand 2025 in a spectacular show on Saturday, August 23 at MGI Hall in Bangkok. The 29-year-old beauty representing the province of Saraburi will now prepare to compete in the upcoming Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November.
