Miss Auvergne 2023 is Oriane Mallet for Miss France 2024


Oriane Mallet was crowned Miss Auvergne 2023 in a glittering event held on Sunday, September 24 at the Palais des Spectacles in Vals-près-le-Puy.

The 22-year-old beauty hailing from Vichy, in the Allier department, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, will now represent the historical region of Auvergne at Miss France 2024 this December.

Her predecessor, Alissia Ladevèze, finished as fourth runner-up in Miss France 2023 which was held last year in Châteauroux, Centre-Val de Loire. 

A total of 15 contestants took part in this year's regional competition. The runners-up were Perrine Terpereau (first runner-up), Emily Raymond (second runner-up), Mareva Richardot (third runner-up), and Julie Senay (fourth runner-up).

"I am extremely proud to represent my region, Auvergne, at Miss France, and believe me, I will give everything to make you proud, we have to go get that crown," said the new Miss Auvergne.

"Thank you to everyone who traveled to come to cheer me on, family, friends, and loved ones you were awesome, and a big thank you to the people who voted for me, your text votes helped make this dream come true."

The 94th Miss France will take place on December 16 at the Zénith de Dijon in Dijon. Indira Ampiot from Guadeloupe will crown her successor at the end of the event.

Miss Hawaii USA 2023 is Savannah Gankiewicz

Miss Wailea Savannah Gankiewicz was crowned Miss Hawaii USA 2023 in a state competition held on Sunday, January 15 at the Hawaii Convention Center in Honolulu. The 27-year-old model of Filipino, Vietnamese and Polish descent from Maui was also awarded Miss Photogenic. She will now represent Hawaii at the Miss USA 2023 pageant in Reno, Nevada later this year. Kawena Kan-Hai, Breea Yamat, Mikayla Baptista, and Ronelle Valera were announced as the first, second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Last year's titleholder who competed in Miss USA 2022 last October, Kiana Yamat, passed the crown to her successor at the end of the event. Another winner proclaimed at the same venue was Miss Hawaii Teen USA 2023 Noelani DeNisi. She was crowned by her predecessor Malulani Paiste and will be heading to the Miss Teen USA 2023 pageant. Alejandra Rodríguez was crowned Miss Universe Buenos Aires 2024 in a competition held on Sunday, April 21 at Corregidor Hotel in La Plata. The 60-year-old lawyer and journalist bested more than 30 other contestants to win the title. She will now prepare to represent Buenos Aires at Miss Universe Argentina 2024. To recall, the Miss Universe Organization removed the age limit requirement last year so now anyone from the age of 18 can join the pageant and this applies to all its national franchises. Hawaii's Savannah Gankiewicz becomes the new Miss USA

The Miss USA organization has just announced Savannah Gankiewicz of Hawaii as the new Miss USA following the resignation of Noelia Voigt. According to the official announcement, Savannah will be crowned in her home state of Hawaii in a special coronation ceremony next Wednesday, May 15. The new Miss USA was crowned  Miss Hawaii USA in January last year and went on to participate in Miss USA 2023 in Reno, Nevada last September. She finished as first runner-up. Savannah is of Filipino, Vietnamese, and Polish descent born and raised in Kihei on the island of Maui. She is a model, entrepreneur, and self-love advocate. "My decision to accept the Miss USA crown was not one that was made lightly. I stand with Noelia and admire her strength to step down and prioritize her mental health," she wrote in an official statement. Samantha Poole bested 11 other finalists to be crowned Miss New Zealand 2024 (Miss International New Zealand 2024) on Sunday, May 5 at Bruce Mason Centre in Takapuna Beach. After the shocking resignation of Miss USA 2023 Noelia Voigt, Miss Teen USA 2023 UmaSofia Srivastava has also announced her decision to relinquish her title. The Miss Czech Republic 2024 concluded on Saturday, May 11 with Adéla Štroffeková winning the national title from a field of 10 finalists. The 21-year-old model from Prague, who was also named Miss World Czech Republic 2024, received her crown from reigning Miss World Krystyna Pyszková.
