Miss Universe Guyana 2023 is Lisa Narine


Lisa Narine edged out seven other finalists to be crowned Miss Universe Guyana 2023 on Saturday, September 2 at the Guyana Marriott Hotel in Georgetown.

The 26-year-old creative coordinator, radio host, entrepreneur, and advocate representing the Pomeroon-Supenaam region will now prepare to represent Guyana at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador this November.

Lieve Blanckaert of Georgetown and Chandini Baljor of Essequibo Islands-West Demerara were named the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Colline Ward of Bartica and Melissa McLean of La Parfaite Harmonie rounded out the Top 5 finalists.

This year's pageant was the first edition held under US-based talent acquisition leader and award-winning pageant director, Teri Brown-Walker, following a 5-year hiatus.

The new Miss Universe Guyana holds a diploma in business and marketing management and currently pursuing her bachelor's degree in international relations at the University of Guyana. She enjoys dancing, modeling, and archery as her hobbies.

No stranger to pageantry, Lisa previously joined the virtual Miss Glocal International 2021 competition where she finished as first runner-up. She also achieved the same placement at Miss India Guyana 2021 before getting appointed as Miss Top Model International Guyana 2022.

Miss Universe 2026 final competition tickets sell out in just 48 hours

The Miss Universe Organization has just announced that Miss Universe 2026 final competition tickets completely sold out within just 48 hours of becoming available for purchase. This year's much awaited pageant will conclude on November 24 at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Although the final competition has already sold out, you can still secure tickets for the National Costume Show and Preliminary Competition through ticketera.com . Tanzania's Jihan Dimack crowned Miss Grand International 2026

Jihan Dimack from Tanzania was proclaimed the winner of Miss Grand International 2026 on Saturday, October 10 at MGI Hall in Bangkok, Thailand. The 30-year-old Tanzanian-Lebanese model bested over 70 other contestants to win her country's first golden crown. She succeeds Emma Mary Tiglao of the Philippines. Shyare Andrade of Ecuador was named first runner-up while Beau Megan Goos of the Netherlands, Ximena Carrillo of Guatemala and Emoura Pham of Vietnam finished as the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Mexico's Andrés Briseño wins Mister International 2026

The 18th Mister International pageant wrapped up with an electrifying final show on Saturday, September 26 at MCC Hall Bangkapi in Bangkok, Thailand. Andrés Briseño, a 21-year-old athlete and law student from Mexico, was proclaimed Mister International 2026. Perla Harb to represent Lebanon at Miss Universe 2026

Perla Harb will represent Lebanon at the 75th Miss Universe pageant (Miss Universe 2026) taking place in Puerto Rico this November. The 23-year-old was crowned Miss Lebanon last year and subsequently participated in Miss World 2026 last month in Vietnam, advancing to the Top 40 out of 111 competitors. Miss Universe Nigeria 2026 is Danielle Adewisi

Danielle Adewisi, a medical doctor and advocate for women's health, was crowned Miss Universe Nigeria 2026 on Sunday, September 27 in Lagos. Miss Earth Organization has just announced Nathalie Briones from Chile as the newly appointed Miss Earth Water 2025. The 20-year-old advertising student and model took over the title following the dethronement of Trinh My Anh of Vietnam for competing in another pageant. Sabrina Deraneck was proclaimed Miss Grand Venezuela 2022 on Saturday, August 13 at Teatro Municipal de Caracas (Municipal Theater of Caracas). The 23-year-old teacher by profession from the state of Mérida will represent her country at Miss Grand International 2022 in Indonesia this October. Alia Abized, 19, of Nueva Esparta, and Valentina Martinez, 22, of Anzoátegui were named Miss Elite Venezuela and Miss Grand Venezuela 2023, respectively.
