Belindé Schreuder to represent South Africa at Miss Earth 2023


Belindé Schreuder has been officially announced on Thursday, October 5 to represent South Africa at Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam later this year.

The 27-year-old model and professional makeup artist hailing from Lephalale, Limpopo was named first runner-up (Miss Air) during Miss Earth South Africa 2023 last month in Johannesburg.

"I am filled with gratitude, blessed beyond measure, but above all, profoundly thankful. Miss Earth holds a special place in my heart; nature is my sanctuary," she shared following the national final.

No stranger to pageantry, Belindé previously held the titles World Supermodel South Africa 2017, Miss United Continents South Africa 2018, Miss Supranational South Africa 2018, and Miss Grand South Africa 2019.

She placed fourth runner-up at Miss United Continents 2018 in Guayaquil, Ecuador, and finished in the Top 21 at Mis Grand International 2019 in Caracas, Venezuela.

The 23rd Miss Earth final will be held on December 22 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Miss Universe Philippines 2025 is Maria Ahtisa Manalo of Quezon Province

Maria Ahtisa Manalo of Quezon Province was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2025 on Friday, May 2 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. The 27-year-old from  Candelaria bested 65 other contestants to win the national title. She will represent the Philippines at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. No stranger to pageantry, Ahtisa is a former  Binibining Pilipinas International titleholder who went on to place first runner-up at the Miss International 2018 competition in Japan. She eventually joined Miss Universe Philippines 2024 and finished second runner-up. The national organization then awarded her the title of Miss Cosmo Philippines. Laura Gnjatović beat 13 other contestants to win Miss Universe Croatia 2025 on Monday, April 28 at Esplanade Hotel in Zagreb. The 23-year-old nursing student from Zadar was crowned by her predecessor, last year's winner Zrinka Ćorić. She will now prepare to represent Croatia at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. The Miss Czech Republic 2025 national final took place on Saturday, May 3 at the Forum Karlín in Prague. Ten finalists competed the crowns at stake. Linda Górecká clinched the title of Miss World Czech Republic 2025 and is expected to represent her country at the 73rd Miss World. Miss Universe Philippines 2025, the sixth edition of the annual pageant has culminated last night at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. Heavy favorite Maria Ahtisa Manalo, 27, from Candelaria, Quezon Province, bagged the crown among 66 contestants following a tough competition. Kunda Mwamulima was crowned Miss Universe Zambia 2025 on Saturday, April 20 at the Mulungushi International Conference Centre (MICC) in Lusaka. The 29-year-old registered nurse and model will now prepare to represent Zambia at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November. No stranger to pageantry, Kunda is a former Miss Earth Zambia titleholder who competed in Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam. Opal Suchata Chuangsri was officially proclaimed Miss World Thailand 2025 in a special press presentation held on Tuesday, April 22 in Bangkok. The 22-year-old political science major at Thammasat University will represent Thailand at Miss World 2025 in Hyderabad ( Telangana), India this May. No stranger to pageantry, Opal was previously crowned Miss Universe Thailand and went to Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico where she finished as the third runner-up.
