Miss Grand International 2023 Best in Ao Dai winners announced


While the contestants are currently enjoying their pre-pageant activities in Ha Long Bay, six beauties have been announced winners of the Miss Grand International 2023 Best in Ao Dai (Vietnamese national costume).

The winners from each continent group were selected through online voting. They had the opportunity to present themselves in a special live talk session with MGI President Nawat Itsaragrisil on Sunday at Citadines Marina Halong.

Singer-songwriter Sigga 脫zk crowned Miss Iceland 2026

Sigr铆冒ur 脫sk Hrafnkelsd贸ttir, also known as Sigga 脫zk, was crowned Ungfr煤 脥sland 2026 (Miss Iceland 2026) on Wednesday, April 22 at at Gamla B铆贸 in Reykjav铆k. The singer-songwriter from Gar冒ab忙r will now prepare to represent Iceland at the Miss Universe 2026 pageant to be held in Puerto Rico this November. An铆ta Mist Dav铆冒sd贸ttir was named first runner-up while El铆nborg Hrannarsd贸ttir, Nad铆a L铆f P谩lsd贸ttir, Soff铆a Ell铆n Stella G铆slad贸ttir were the second, third and fourth runners-up, respectively. Miss Universe 2022 R'Bonney Gabriel visits El Salvador

Fresh from her Paris Fashion Week debut, the reigning Miss Universe R'Bonney Gabriel of the USA touched down in El Salvador for the first time today. According to the beauty queen, she will be in the Central American country for a week to start filming for the upcoming Miss Universe 2023 competition. "It is my first time here, I'm very excited, I've heard amazing things about El Salvador. I'm looking for some of the best pupusas here in the country and I'm looking forward to just exploring the beauty that this country has to offer," she shared on social media. The 72nd Miss Universe is set to take place in El Salvador on November 18. R'Bonney will crown her successor at the end of the event, just 10 months after she won Miss Universe 2022 in New Orleans. Rikkie Valerie Koll茅 was crowned Miss Nederland 2023 (Miss Universe Netherlands 2023) on Saturday, July 8 at the AFAS Theater in Leusden. The 22-year-old Dutch-Moluccan model and actress living in Breda succeeds Ona Moody and will now prepare to represent the Netherlands at the 72nd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2023) in El Salvador. Former Miss Earth USA Bea Millan-Windorski joins Miss Universe Philippines 2026

Filipino-American Bea Millan-Windorski has recently been appointed as the official representative for the province of La Union at Miss Universe Philippines 2026. At just 24 years old, she is well-acquainted with the world of pageantry, having participated in Miss Earth USA 2024 in Orlando, Florida, where she clinched the title while representing Wisconsin. This achievement made her the first Filipino-American to secure the national title. As Miss Earth USA, she went on to compete in Miss Earth 2024 in the Philippines, where she impressively placed in the Top 4 out of 76 contestants, earning the title of Miss Earth Water. Miss Grand Thailand 2026 is Patthama Jitsawat of Chonburi

Patthama Jitsawat, representing the Thai province of Chonburi, was crowned Miss Grand Thailand 2026 on Saturday, March 28 at MGI Hall in Bangkok. The 32-year-old beauty edged out 76 other contestants to win the national competition. She succeeds last year's winner Sarunrat Puagpipat of Phuket. Panasaya Angelica Damaagd of Buriram was names first runner-up while Ilin Nabsuk of Phuket, Natthakitta Kerdkanchiroj of Saraburi, and Naruemol Chaloemroek of Sukhothai were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Sadhvi Sail bested 29 other contestants to win the Femina Miss India 2026 pageant last Saturday, April 18 at the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology in Bhubaneswar. The 24-year-old beauty from Goa state was crowned by her predecesor Nikita Porwal and will represent India at the 74th Miss World competition next year. Victoria DiSorbo was crowned Miss World America 2023 in a national competition held on Thursday, October 5 at the Meydenbauer Center Theatre in Bellevue, Washington.
