Miss Universe 2022 R'Bonney Gabriel visits El Salvador


Fresh from her Paris Fashion Week debut, the reigning Miss Universe R'Bonney Gabriel of the USA touched down in El Salvador for the first time today.

According to the beauty queen, she will be in the Central American country for a week to start filming for the upcoming Miss Universe 2023 competition.

"It is my first time here, I'm very excited, I've heard amazing things about El Salvador. I'm looking for some of the best pupusas here in the country and I'm looking forward to just exploring the beauty that this country has to offer," she shared on social media.

The 72nd Miss Universe is set to take place in El Salvador on November 18. R'Bonney will crown her successor at the end of the event, just 10 months after she won Miss Universe 2022 in New Orleans.

Peru's Luciana Vasquez crowned Teen Universe 2024

Luciana Vasquez from Peru was crowned Teen Universe 2024 on Sunday, April 28 in a glittering competition held in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The 18-year-old fashion model and student from Iquitos, a city in the region of Loreto, succeeds last year's winner from Mexico,  Mariana García . Valentina Colmenares of Venezuela was the first runner-up while Maria Eugênia Raposo of Brazil, Ana Paredes of Spain, and Ziari Ruiz of Nicaragua were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Aside from the new Teen Universe, Lana Collantes of the Philippines was also crowned Teen Universe Petite 2024 while the representative of Latina USA, Natalie Grace, clinched the title Pre-Teen Universe 2024. Miss Delaware USA 2024 is Alysa Bainbridge

Miss Newark, Alysa Bainbridge, was crowned Miss Delaware USA 2024 during the state final on Sunday, April 28 at Laird Performing Arts Center in Wilmington. The 25-year-old public speaker, host, and mental health advocate will now prepare to represent Delaware at Miss USA 2024 in Hollywood, California this summer. She succeeds last year's winner Noa Mills. No stranger to pageantry, Alysa was the winner of Miss Pennsylvania's Outstanding Teen 2016. In 2022, she became Miss Pennsylvania and went to Miss America 2023 in Connecticut last December. The new Miss Delaware USA was born and raised in Berks County, Pennsylvania. She holds a bachelor's degree in communication studies from Saint Joseph's University and a master's in leadership from Cabrini University. Alysa is an adovocate for mental health and recovery. Jeymi Escobedo was crowned Miss World Guatemala 2024 during the glittering Miss Guatemala 2024 final on Wednesday, May 1 at Teatro Dick Smith in Guatemala City. The 18-year-old, representing the department of Suchitepéquez, succeeds  Marcela Miranda and will now prepare to represent Guatemala at the 72nd Miss World. Also crowned during the event were the representatives of the country for Miss International 2024, Miss Grand International 2024, and Reina Hispanoamericana 2024. The Miss Universe Curacao 2024 final coronation will be held on May 25 at Sandals Royal Curacao in Willemstad. A total of 10 beauties are currently vying for the national title. Miss Universe Germany 2024 is Pia Theissen

Pia Theissen was crowned Miss Universe Germany 2024 on Sunday, April 28 at Living Hotel de Medici in Düsseldorf. The 25-year-old social worker, occupational therapist and yoga teacher from Cologne will now prepare to represent Germany at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico later this year. Annabelle Keller and Ilke Filiz were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Angelina Matic, Jennifer Monreal, and Tatjana Genrich rounded out the Top 6 finalists. Miss Universe Netherlands' national director Milou Verhoeks, reigning Miss Denmark Nikoline Uhrenholt Hansen, and former Miss Universe Germany Soraya Kohlmann were among the judges. Ukraine's Angelina Usanova crowned Miss Eco International 2024

Angelina Usanova from Ukraine was crowned Miss Eco International 2024 on Sunday, April 28 at the Triumph Luxury Hotel in Cairo, Egypt. The 26-year-old singer-songwriter bested over 40 other contestants to win the international title. She succeeds last year's winner from Vietnam, Nguyen Thanh Ha. Chantal Schmidt of the Philippines was announced first runner-up while Nikita Dani of Canada, Fabiane Alcarde Goia of Brazil, and Valerie Avril of Indonesia were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.
